Question about BBTS's orange plug for Masterpiece Megation.

I just got my Masterpiece Megatron from BBTS and I am trying to get rid of the orange plug. I've tried pliers and a knife so far and it's pretty well glued in. I remember a thread about an easy way to remove it. Any one remember how to get this thing off?

I too got mine from BBTS site and didn't have any problems. I used needle-nosed pliers and gently twisted in a circular motion and it came right out! If it still is stubborn, take a Q-tip and gently and lightly soak it in GOO-Gone and apply to the base of the orange plug around the the barrel. This should help looosen the glue. Once out, any residue left inside the barrle came right out with a Q-tip and GOO-GONE.. Can get it at Walmart.

Hope this helps! It's what worked for me!

I got it out, thanks. I think part of the problem was my pliers had grabbed part of the edge of the barrel as well as the plug.

No, I checked it and there was nothing noticible.
