Rarest Transformer Figure you have?
Why do people post like 15 figures when the question was for one, I'm sure you can make the determination of which of your figures is the rarest.

It's like that episode of Star Trek where those people age backwards and die as babies!
Rarest? as in least produced? hardest to find on eBay? oldest?
Probably Costco Armada Prime...I guess. I don't know. I hate math.
(but I don't think very many of them were produced at all...)

In my case the thread was already going that way when I jumped onboard so I followed the trend. Add to that the fact that my two rarest aren't actually Hasbro or Takara figures and that complicates the issue with "what counts as a Transformer?". Besides, isn't it the natural course of events for most threads around here to deviate somewhat from the original post and go off on a few tangents? So long as it doesn't descend into a spam thread I don't see a huge problem.

Haha, I like your style and I love the way you phrased that. "MISB quickly changed to MIB". LMAO. Good stuff.
MISB is good, but changing it to MIB? Thats better.

Well I was just trying to prove that my collection didn't suck according to other peoples perception of "rare" really its not as easy for people that don't have lucky draw figures to choose which of ours is rare.
To me MP megatron would be the rarest to get in england but honestly how many people on the boards have MP megatron? its not really rare is it.
I welcome you to tell me out of the list I provided which of mine is the rarest, you have a vast knowledge of transformers so it should be easy for you right?

MIB Roadfire from TF:Zone. Slightly yellowed through the window, bit that OK 'cause my G1 Sonic Bomber is all yellowed to h&ll and back.
After that, prob is BumbleJumper and Purple G2 SeaSpray aka SheSpray.

I'd say that "1982 Takara G1 Bloated fist Optimus prime made in France" is very rare. Plus know one is having a pissing contest here. For example, while it might be cool to have a LioKaiser, but I'm sure that there are less BotCon Thundercrackers or even Sams club yellow Primes than him produced. I think vintage figures appear more rare because most have been thrown out.
It really would be cool to see how many figures were produced back in the G1 days.

Do customs and personal repaints count? Each one I've finished is one of a kind. If we're sticking to official releases it would be the recent BB exclusives. I want to start to reclaim the figures I had as a kid, so my G1 collection is near non-existant. I don't like thinking about how much money it would cost to get them all back.

Not one of mine is what you could call "rare". I got them from recent lines, all but one right off the store shelf.

Woohoo, another sig quote for me!
Actually, let me give you a little history. The French G1 Prime also was the most common figure to come with the feet painted red. Another tidbit is that the current reissues of G1 Prime have mold changes. The high quality knock off version of Prime in the G1 box is actually based on the french mold so it is really the only true representation of G1 Prime, so that French Prime you have is actually quite a nice piece to have!

before I list my G1 goodies, the boxed figs i have are missing the tech specs - i cut them of all the boxes (i regret this for the really rare guys but, better than being thrown out!) for this reason I can't say MIB, but they are in pretty good shape:
G1 Scattershot boxed (i might've put all the other technobots inside)
g1 scorponok -box -C7 or 8, figure C9
Powermaster Optimus Prime in original box, toy is mint, again tech specs cut from box
Haven't really collected much after G1 -but I do I have ultimate BB 07, and collecting MP editions (so far have Prime & SS)
What are the rarest Hasbro G1 figures??? I have a bag full of other figs loose & want to know if i'm sitting on a goldmine.

My rarest TF figs --- JETFIRE and RAMJET!!! :-D
I have Classic JETFIRE and Classic RAMJET!!!
There are very few such figs in my area, so they're very hard to find!
I got RAMJET from eBay and I was lucky I won in the bidding!
And I got the only JETFIRE fig here from a toyshop for almost double its original price...
well, I had no choice since I want it very bad and I NEVER saw other JETFIRE and RAMJET figs in other toyshops so I gave in..
Well, I have no regrets coz I'm so happy and very proud to know that I can hardly find other collectors who have these same rare and awesome figs..
THERE'S NO PRICE FOR TRUE SATISFACTION!!!

I would say some of the Targetmasters MISB would fit into that category. Particularly Targetmaster Scourge who is known to be quite rare and can cost a couple thousand dollars in near Mint to mint condition if you ever run across one MISB. I also believe Target master Hot Rod was produced in an error box and a corrected box. The Corrected box is far rarer I believe. Bumblejumper is a pretty rare variant who is near impossible to find sealed but probably wouldn't cost more than a couple hudred bucks. Oh there is also an early version of Jetfire with a MAcross symbol on it, that is pretty rare and coveted by collectors. Other than those I am having a hard time thinking of others. Most first series Tf also have Pre Rub sign versions and some will pay a premium for those.
