Primal looks great so far. I'm about as eager to get this Masterpiece figure as I was when MP Magnus and Prime came out

ooooo yeah, they decided to have the cg model come to life and thus have the fur still there but simply as deco over a smooth surface. Love you Takara, never change!

Oh and here he is next to the 10th anniversary Primal

But the real difference is the beast mode.

Extremely cool. But I was always more impressed with the gorilla mode since that was the initial selling point a year ago and the place where the update was more needed. I cant wait to see that mode in colour.

Kinda wish that had had the beast mode colored, but at least now we have a good idea what it will look like with that paint detail on the fur in robot mode

i was also wanting to see a size comparison but now i can see how different in detail they are

If anything, this shows us just how good he is coming out and how lucky we are that he is this good so far

Wow. He looks like he stepped right off the screen in robot mode. Obviously the beast mode had to suffer a little bit in the legs department, but short of the weird heel spurs and the robot parts on the tops of the thighs, even the beast mode looks amazing. I love the upright stance of the beast mode, really captures the character a lot. This will be my first MP in a while, and I am not hesitating at all on it. He looks phenomenal!

My only complaint is that they couldn't find a way to fit the swords into the beast mode. They should have been able to do something. Minor issue since he didn't use the swords all that much anyway. The forearm guns and shoulder cannons both looks great.
