Will there be a USA release of Masterpiece Megatron or Skywarp?

Postby Wordsworth999 » Tue Aug 28, 2007 7:26 pm

Hello,

I love the US release of Masterpiece Prime, I bought mine today. I know Starscream is coming out soon and Ill be picking him up as well. I was really hoping however that there might be a USA release of Masterpiece Megatron or at least Masterpiece Skywarp. These are two of my favorite Characters, and Id love to see them done here.

So any news or predictions on whether either of these will be made by Hasbro and released in the States ?

I'd normally say 'no chance in hell' with Megatron, but the original is apparently being re-released at Wal-Mart, and that one is far closer to a real looking gun then the masterpiece. Who knows. As for Skywarp, they might depending on sales.

Well, if starscream sells well, then they will most likely release skywarp as well. They did release ultra magnus and he was just a repaint of prime.

As for megatron, The original is being reworked, but from what I heard, its for wallmart.com only. So I really doubt they would release MP megatron in stores. Even though he is a little large, he is still a silver gun and looks pretty real without the huge scope on it. I bought mine online a couple of months back and they included an orange plug you can remove. But I'm sure hasbro wouldnt have an removable plug.

Thats too bad.

I really hope they do a US Masterpiece Soundwave or Galvatron to make up for Megatron being poor quality.
