Here is my alt prowl I just finished. It is basically just a repaint, with a couple of changes. Namely shoulder gun, new seats, leg reversal, and the lambo door mod. My theme was basically that he was modeled after a retired police cruiser (where I live they are popular sources for hotrods). Hence the rims, brakes, seats etc.

the figure himself is done, but I will probably add a few more things. Mainly like some panels to go behind the glass on his legs so they don't look so hollow, and a more American paint job and remove the lights. Also I need to make up his plates, but I'm waiting for the paint to completely cure first.

I'm just glad to be rid of the baby blue and mother of pearl plastic colors.

Just for the hell of it, here is a group shot of the three custom alts I have now. the Suby mold is still a WIP though (hence the unpainted rifle)

I didn't buy Alt Prowl, but I definitely would have had it looked like that. I'm also really liking the paint inside the legs.

True story - the extra paint details add a lot to it, and using the Minicon Prowl as a gun is a nice touch, too.

The gun your Bluestreak's carrying - isn't that from G2 Hero Prime/Sureshot?

yes, it is from Hero Prime. I just dug several parts for kibble from old toy boxes and that was one of the guns I found in a reasonable scale for alts. The funny part is after I removed the original grip, I accidentally glued the new grip on the top, and it looks better upside down IMO.

so far, I haven?t been impressed with the guns that come with alternators.
especially the Suby mold gun. It routinely falls in two, and prowl's is just emasculate.

love the paint job. If your interested, I have a mod for the feet that allows them to sit better, and gives a bit more articulation. Also a mod for the back of the shins that will give him at least a 90 deg knee bend, unimpeded. PM for the zip file.

sure. I've seen the knee bend mod, and decided not to do it to keep the full back panel, but the foot one sounds interresting. PM.T
