These updates. Bah.

I'm not sure why they're advertising this now, because I've had the updated version of the game for about two weeks now, I wanna say.

I finally unlocked level 100 and I don't care for those new levels even a slight bit. That fast forward/slo mo warp gate gimmick is getting on my nerves and if there's a way to use them to my advantage, it's out of my reach, because I can't figure it out. Had to cheat and have Skywarp take care of it for me.

Not all updates are great, this is a great example of such a thing.

At level 120 you get to pig city, which is way more fun.

Yes, this still happens. I have also noticed that the invisible death bug is still present on some levels. Its very rare though.

Hit level 201 last night.

At least you can get rid of the level using Skyearp.

Interesting. Just got all my characters up to level 9 and in process of getting first one to level 10. Glad there are new things to do as was getting a little bored.

I played a little of this game, out of curiosity. It was sad. Where the original Angry Birds was a fun physics-based puzzle game where you could take your time, this was an on-the-rails shooter and an unapologetic cash grab to boot. It's not challenging as a puzzle, it's not fun as a shooter, and you're forced to spend so much time upgrading just to be able to survive the next level. I haven't played any of the other Angry Birds sequels or licensed titles between the original and this, so I don't know if the change to Pay To Win is standard by now or not, but I really don't like it. The levels go by too quickly and the automatic aiming takes out a lot of the challenge that made the original what it was. I'm just glad I didn't play this game long enough to dump any money into it, unlike Transformers Legends, which got more of my cash than it deserved before I quit.

Well I can safely say this was a pointless update.

There's no new areas. Oh sure, there's a couple of new things to tap on ... but they're "coming soon".

Fortress Maximus in city mode is for your Friends.

Trypticon is now Skywarp's base ... Skywarp now needs repairs, at 5K a pop.

Update ... yeah ... updated with "coming soon". Rovio has really dropped the ball with this franchise, and that's disappointing because they've done such a great job with Angry Birds as a whole, and with what they did with Star Wars.

You dont really need to grind the game. You can just collect the coins on the map every 4 hours or so. Save your double coins video bonuses for when you have scored big on a level. Then only real wait is the wait for a character to level up. Takes 2 days + when you get to level 9 or 10.

Stella spotted as a non-playable character, looking a whole lot like Bayformers Arcee!

I'm very fortunate to not have lost my level 221 (but I always backup with Titanium Backup just to be safe.) Also for grinding, Jenga Mode is the only thing you need to buy. Though it's not really needed to grind as after you collect full squads, you get multipliers. My own rule for deciding to watch a video to double points, is if the coins are more than 10x your level - so if you are level 100 then you don't double unless you get 1000 coins.
