IDW Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers Discussion Thread
Re: IDW Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers Discussion Thread
all that aside its really great to see josh coloring interiors again and not using his style he used in MTMTE. I know people enjoyed the flat almost pastel 80s look but I always felt he was stronger in all hail megaton.
I'm not feeling Kups look. It's nicks take on Andrews design but it's not doing it for me. Same with Arcee. I'm not a fan of how nick draws female transformers' faces. They just look fugly. Had the same problem on his covers with Nautica and I have it here too.

Prowl heals and somehow makes it secretly back to Earth, and his first action is to finish going after a threat he received a while back that really only damns the faction he's basically been kicked out of?
If he wanted her dead because it's just that big of a threat, he would've had a Constructicon swing by her place and kill her before going to Cybertron. Or did she in her amazing skill of sending the message straight to Prowl's quarters without otherwise detection also learn how to replicate Spike's methods of staying off the grid? Which didn't exactly last that long once Prowl started looking for him.
Probably should be asking yourselves that, Kup and Arcee, rather than make snap assumptions.

Verity hasn't actually been off the grid as much as you think. Stakeout has been keeping tabs on her ever since the end of LSTOW

Last we saw Prowl attacked Caminus, was captured, escaped, combined with Optimus, fought combines was captured again then escaped thanks to a fight with Optimus and was taken by Ratrap who said he had plans for him.
This is acting like Prowl has been back with the Autobots, being all "things are back to normal" and just goes missing from the Ark.
What the hell?
Maybe after the latest story arc ends, Prowl bridges back to the Earth crew, joins back up with them considering they may be unaware he is wanted, and then all hell breaks loose?
No they're fully aware. Optimus filled Arcee in on everything and she's mentioned his current actions.
Optimus told Arcee Prowl was in Starscreams custody, but he may have never told her he stabbed him and escaped and is now a wanted fugitive? IDK, I'm trying here

Guys, this is gonna be soooooo good.
Are we finally seeing the payoff from the AHM Coda? Where Prowl resurrected Kup in the first place and installed those other sub-programs to make him say what Prowl wanted him to say?

Considering Prowl wants the wreckers called into this, and that fact that I had forgot about that and so much other stuff that was long forgotten is returning, i would not rule it out!

They basically said this will drag every skeleton out of the closet for Prowl, so I'm expecting AHM Coda plus more. I'm wonder if Zeta's weapons will come up, since the comic left it ambiguous whether he destroyed them as ordered.
I get the impression this will be as much Prowl bashing as they can get in with "look at all his evil deeds!" Nick Roche said Prowl will "get his comeuppance." It explains the casting list and Arcee's apparent anger and desire to hurt Prowl. In ex-RID she's just irritated with him on Earth, indifferent of him on Cybertron. In one shot Combiners she refers to Prowlestator as a monster. This progression of her anger to him in offshoots feel like build up to making her a supposed victim of Prowl.

This art is definitely different from what we've gotten in the past. It still looks really cool though! I can dig it

These look good. I like the more 'gritty' look.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Very excited. Been waiting for this for a long time. LSOTW is probably my favourite TF book EVER. Been dying to find out what happens to Springer and I loved how Impactor and Guzzle were written. The gritty look suits The Wreckers perfectly.

So true about being gritty, this looks like art from a graphic novel out of the nineties or early 2K's. I like it it suits this kind of darker mature themed story.

It should be available on the 25th or maybe the 24th of November. I'm not 100% sure on when digital comics get released.

It looks nice. Not a fan of the coloring and the continuity is a giant mess. Maybe it takes place before combiner wars? Be terrible especially since that's been almost a year from where we are now. Maybe after this conquers arc? Who knows. Bugs the hell out of me though.

How is it a mess? This takes place after Combiner Wars, directly after the Barber arc we are in now as far as I know. The preview also states it's been 1467 days since Springer was injured so that right there is the exact timeline.
