I like to check Ko toys from time to time just to see what they have to offer. I was blown away by how far the KOLD project they have has gone. They have create you own clear seeker kits! not to mention tons of other stuff..The kits include all of the parts to create a seeker and spray paints (Tamiya)..For those not familiar with KOLD it stands for

I gotta admit, I'm next to sold on these.

But it's just soooo expencive when you factor in shipping. But it's incredibly tempting, since I don't have any clear or totally chromed TFs at all.

Oh man that's wicked! A glow in the dark prime!?! How epic is that!I just ordered some of the clear seeker kits and convoy kits..Can't wait to get some of those GID Kustoms

love that idea! I could make "Warping" Skywarp! I'm sure some enterprising individuals could even work up a glowing Sunstorm or something else. Shame there's no clear Megatron to make a "Unicron Reformatting" version. too pricey for me, mind you.

Hey KO good to see ya! I cannot wait for these! The sheer novelty of them makes them a must have for me. With the retailers here in the states dragging their knuckles on the newest Transformer stuff online retailers are gonna be gettin some of my cash fo sure

Knock off TF really aren't my thing but when I saw the Clear kold Prime I had to get it. I ordered one and I guess it's already shipped. Can anyone comment on the quality of these? I am really anxious for these to show up.

Got the clear Prime and gold Starcream today.

While visually very nice looking I am more than a little disappointed in the
shipping practice. These shipped in robot mode and padded envelope.
Which means Prime broken in half as well as the leg broken and the smokestack gun broken at the hinge. Had they shippedPrime in alt mode I think he would have faired much better. Man I was stoked about these, now I am mad at myself for falling for these.

I hope anybody else who ordered these is luckier than me.

You should talk to the webmaster there. I hear he shipped replacement gold Primes to people who got the flawed first shipment. He may be willing to help you out.

Yeah, I think I will do that. Prime is really neat looking, just wish I could have transformed it.

umm DISCHARGE - we NEVER use padded envelopes, I do not have ANY padded envelopes here, we only ship in cardboard boxes. We wrap our toys in bubble or foam wrap, but we always use a box... and if there's a problem? why not email me and deal with it? just shoot me an email, the klears are obviously going to be super fragile, so if there's a problem, just let me know privately, better yet, get me on msn messenger, im usually online a few times a day on messenger, so no one has any excuse for not contacting me.

You are trying to say we did not use a box to ship him in? REALy? Please don't lie or mislead people about my shipping practices, we always use boxes, we have many sizes of new boxes that we ship with, from small to very large.

The only time i have used an envelope was to mail a best wishes card to a customer in the hospital..

I have mentioned in one of the KLEAR KOLD threads that they are very fragile as they are all clear plastic, has/tak always use some solid plastic for joints on their crystal/ghost/clear toys, these are ALL CLEAR, why they are so unique and cool, so you really have to treat them with respect and care when transforming them. You should tread it More carefully then a 400$ Takara Crystal Convoy because they are more fragile, becuase they do not use solid plastic. There are alot of smart asses around that think they are smart for realizing that the clear toys break easier then the regular one.... i love how genius works its way into mass population...

I also mentioned in that same thread that all buyers are welcome to free replacement parts (while supplies last) for any parts that break, even if you broke it during transformation, even if you drop it and it breaks. You just have to cover the minimal airmail shipping cost (unless the breakage was our fault or happened during shipping, then we will ship to you for free)

Our replacement policy for Klear KOLD is very good, i don't think that anyone can complain if a part breaks, because they should 1 - be aware that it is all clear plastic, which is more brittle (if they dont realize that they must be blind or brain dead), and 2- that they can get replacement parts for any parts that do break during play.

If we compare it to Heeros clear OP, his used black solid parts for joints and then the more brittle for the main parts. I can also supply you with black joint parts or any black parts if you would prefer replacement parts in a stronger type of plastic.

Just let us know what you want and what you need, if you bought a Klear Kold, then we want you to be very happy with it, we can probably help you with whatever you need in regards to the collectors item.

I can vouch for Ko toys here..I have done alot of business with them and they have always shipped items in excellent manners. Sturdy boxes with the item incased in bubble wrap and packing peanuts!( my cats love those things!)

I seriously spend a bunch of bucks there and I've always been satisfied

Man some of this new stuff is awesome!

Well I'm gonna tell you that my xp with them has been less than stellar.
I've tried to make contact 2 times through their site and have received not so much
as a reply. I even sent them pics of the shipping method used and pics of the broken Prime. KO TOYS can bite me! I'll just take the loss and stick with quality over "Coolness". Here's some warning pics just so I don't "mislead" anybody.

Is there any chance of you guys doing a non-clear seeker kit without the paint jars? I would love to get my hands on a few. Possibly in bulk?
