Hey all, I'm doing a little expanding on my little collection and am looking for some input.
I'm a bit of a G1 fan boy, and am looking for some good G1 inspired toys. So far I have Classic Grimlock and and Universe devastator (Land fill repaint). I would like to keep everyone in scale, so I'm looking mostly at Deluxe and Voyager. So far I'm thinking,
Classic Bumble bee
Classic Hot Rod
Classic Jetfire
Megatron Armada
Classic Starscream
Cybertron Soundwave
Armada Unicron
I would also Like a Prime and Magnus that arn't just repaints. are there any other very well known characters I'm missing?

I know some people won't like this but Revoltech Prime.

For magnus, I'd go for either RiD Magnus (who is currently the only none G1 magnus who isnt a repaint and who combines with RiD Prime) or Energon magnus, who IS a repaint, but a reasonably intelligent one, and whome combines with armada's leader version of Prime.

Duly Appointed Representative in Chief of the Decpeticon Coprophage Accord.
Second class scavenger.

I do like Classic Prime, but I wish he had a trailer
I LOVE armada Magnus!! I just wish I could find one for cheap (only one I found was 200+ on ebay). I wonder if his trailer is compatable with Classics prime?
Is there anyone else you guys can think of I should add to the list?

I never thought of wheeljack, he is quite a well known character, and downshift is very striking. If I have room ill definetly keep him in mind.
Smokescrean is a little less well known.. but still a very nice figure.

The Japanese version of Energon Downshift, Superlink Wheeljack, is and even better stand-in for Classic Wheeljack because he has light gray instead of puke green.
Cyb Smokescreen.
Any of the upcoming movie repaints in G1 (Ratchet, Prime, Starscream, Thundercracker, Jazz) although these would be out of scale.
Titanium Rodimus Prime.
Any of the 2007 Botcon figs
Titanium Scourge (for the Sweeps)
E-Hobby Orion Pax
Botcon 05 Ironhide & Ratchet
Botcon 05 Fallback for Outback
Botcon 05 Chromia for Moonracer
Real Gear Booster X10 for Laserbeak
TF Club exclusive Astrotrain (better for extended universe, since not a triple changer anymore)

I have to second this on the RiD Magnus, he's one of my favorite figures. Looks awesome in alt mode and actually has a nice unique robot mode.

As much as I love botcom stuff its a little out of my league.
Japanise colors are much nicer, how much is he, and how hard to track down?
Arcee might be a very good addition as would all of them but I am limited to 12 slots..
