The Turbomasters and Predators were banned from being sold in the USA/Canada because of those very missiles and missile launchers.

The reason that most toys today that have firing projectiles (and many of them do), are so very weak is due to US toy safety laws that prohibit missile launchers to launch their missiles over a certain speed/force. Missiles also have to be over a certain length, to pass the laws.

This is supposed to be so that young children (and people in general) cannot fire missiles into their mouths and choke on them, or injure their eyes/ears etc etc.

So toy companies have to have weak missile launchers, or their toys wont be allowed to be sold legally in the USA, the biggest toy market in the world.

Dont ask me how Attacktix got around the laws though, as I do not know.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I miss the days of good missile launchers.

Today's transformers just don't make it as easy to kill small woodland creatures in my backyard as the one's from the 80's.

....charming.

I'm glad they were able to figure out a way for us to have missiles again, at least we didn't get stuck with the GiG launchers and missiles with the ball of fluff at the end.

Looks like the plunger o' doom.

at least it seems that you could cut the bongs off.

... ewww, that sounds wrong, oh so very, very wrong.

also, WTF is a 'mailgram'. i should probaly just look it up on wikipedia, but i cannot be bothered to type it into the adress bar :P . if missile launcers were more powerful, thyen perhaps they would be able to knock over the other transformer it is fired at. why some atlantan kid thought it would be good to fire ity into his mouth however, i beyond me. if he wanted to taste it, he could of fired into the floor.

also, GMTV are about to do a segment on chinese manufacture with cyber stomping prime

I so want that uber missile truck!

I'm just gonna buy a bag of springs and upgrade any tf figure I own that work by spring launching.

It makes sense that a missile fired from a tf should knock another tf down.

Damn safety laws. Just take toys away from kids and give em to us instead!
