Were there any humans that weren't annoying to some degree?

Off the top of my head.

G1 Cartoon: Most of the Autobots support staff were ok, Sparkplug was pretty much a staight shooter. Spike and Chip had moments both ways and Carly was usually better than them. And as I said before the season 3 cameos of Flint and Cobra Commander were good.

G1 Comic: Plenty of annoying ones here, and Buster even made Spike look good. But it gave us GB Blackrock, who despite being a poor man's Tony Stark had some sparks of coolness. But mostly, the comic gave us Joey Slick, easily one of the best humans in transformers history, The guy takes advantage of a disabled Megatron, goes on a crime spree, then when Megs gets better and is about to kill him, talkes back to Megatron and gains his respect. That takes balls of steel.

Japanese G1: ..... These series gave us alot, but not much for humans, I guess Giga and Mega were interesting but they died, so....

Beaties: nope

RID: nothing here

Unicron Trilogy: er.. nothing deserving of mention

Animated: Come on, Carmine Fanzone rules. And Slo-mo was a nice idea among a few bad ones.

I'm suprised there wasn't more Kicker outcry, I mean c'mon what about him isn't annoying? What if you met that kid in real life, how could you not punch him in the face?

Also besides him and Sam's parents from the Bay movie (and Mikaela) I'd say every Japanese TF human ever, if not all then 98% of them. Who better than the creators of Kiss Players to show us how annoying a human charater can be.

Daniel Witwicky (Japanese/Animated version)
Koji Onishii
Professor Princess
Pretty much everyone from Headmasters,Victory and Masterforce

The only humans i do like are:
Sari Sumdac
Captain Fanzone
Spike Witwicky
"Old Snake"

The general explaination is to give the viewer someone that they can relate to. However I have never in the 20 plus years since G1 started met a father/son team of auto mechanics who took a job on an oil rig, and pal around with robots so I'm not sure how I was suppose to relate to spike and sparkplug in the first place.

It has to be the kid in Victory. It was basically Star Sabre will save us, Save me Star Sabre and I hate anything that isn't Star Sabre. I just wanted him to be a chew toy for the Dinoforce.

Yeah, gotta go with that one as well. I despised that character. For some reason, with the exception of Shockwave and Unicron, she only destroyed Autobots, even after she was told they were good.

Then you probably don't want to know how my kids and I interact. (building stuff, sharing Transformers, playing with knives & swords in the backyard etc.)

It'd be a shorter list if I just mentioned the ones that don't annoy me...

Fanzone, Adult Spike, Carly, Sparkplug, Season 3 Sari, The kids/young adults from the IDW-verse and Charlene from the Marvel series (that was some car-washing scene). Chip wasn't bad from G1 but I think if maybe Carly had just...rotated his tires...he would have been a little more tolerable.

That princess character had me fighting the urge to reach for the old Nintendo Duck Hunt gunt (which has been gone for ages but I still miss) and wanting to squezze the trigger repeatedly for minutes on end. Now there's an idea for an interactive television series. Of course this would effectively eliminate 90% of all human components from EVERY Tf show in the first few minutes of an episode but the viewer ratings would go through the roof.

Hey Hasbro, we've got your new TF series idea! And you can make some extra money selling the exclusive gun controllers too.
I'd buy 2 just to improve my score and kill the humans off quicker.

I'm with Decepticon 25--I like my giant robots with no side of humans, please.

All have annoyed me to some extent--Spike is forgivable, and looks better and better after, say, Armada.

But I think we have a new reigning king of annoying humans: Leo.

I mean, when even Autobots make fun of you...you must suck.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Shawn Berger from Season 2, Episode 15-16: Megatron's Master Plan part 1 & 2. Actually I think he would be the funniest human character.

I didn't like grown up Spike Witwicky either. His outfit on Cybertron was kind of lame. His existence and uselessness after the 86' movie was annoying. Especially in the Head Masters Series with Daniel who became best friends with Wheelie. Those two should have been disposed of in the Head Masters series.

Human I actually liked was Chip Chase. He was pretty brave in many episodes during G1. I kind of miss his character. He wasn't a coward and idiot like Leo in ROTF.
