Good news for you Robotmetal:

Right off the heels of the Cloud Hellwarp images, E-bay seller lena81822 has posted images of upcoming Transformers Cloud TFC-A04 Autobot Roadbuster to go with the toy's listings. Cloud Roadbuster uses the Generations Roadbuster mold with deco homaging Energon Ironhide.

Speaking of those colors, I always did prefer the deco of Super Link Roadbuster over Energon Ironhide. It's just too bad that the latter was the more show-accurate version.

i would love for this to be a official repurpose for Energon IronHide as honestly i actually liked the kid. out of all three series he had the best character development as from what i watched a rookie to a fairly respectable warrior

Ironhide was one of the first Transformer figures I got back during the Energon line. I dig the colors here, but wish it had a new head. Doesn't look like the kind of figure I's pay Cloud Prices for.

TBH I'd be hesitant to suggest those. I've bought quite a few and about a third of them have had far to tight ball joints and when you try to move the limb the piss poor plastic breaks before you even realise there is a problem :-x

Same here. I got them and have no issues. Granted I am very careful with them and dont transform them on a regular basis like some collectors who fiddle with their toys all the time. I contemplated buying this roadbuster to be crosshairs, but then I figured somebody eventually will do all the targetmasters in a more proper fashion. Then I would be stuck with yet another high priced repaint to join my pile of funpub exclusives that ended up getting an original figure down the line. Instead, I opted to buy cloud rodimus. I think its time to start displaying protector in vehicle mode for a while.

Be VERY careful. The last one that broke for me had be transformed a few times, then suddenly the join seized up, and snap! :-(

The Cloud stuff was already on sale for $72, and as of last week they're remaining stock is at $68... I'm still waiting for this week's, though. I've got my eye on that Starscream.

It may not pertain to the figures from the Takara Tomy Transformers Cloud line, but we have news from website e-Hobby that the entirety of the story accompanying the line will be released in an omnibus comic book edition, written by Makoto Wakabayashi and with art by Naoto Tsushima. The book will feature 24 pages of adapted script, and be included with any order of TFC-D01 Megatron, TFC-D02 Starscream, TFC-D03 Shockwave, or TFC-D04 Hellwarp - check out the cover art below!

Japanese blogger (and possible cat enthusiast) Mangod uploaded a handful of images featuring the comic that comes with Takara's Transformers: Cloud release of Hellwarp. Of interesting note is that the one of the pages feature Generations Jhiaxus... perhaps hinting at a Takara release of the Cybertronian Empire's leader/Nova Prime's go-to mad scientist?
