Maybe you can't see, but I'd tried my best to show that his head, chest, forearms, hands and his shorts are molded from that kind of plastic with nice metallic sparkley bits. The base of his stand is too. Hope someone posts a Takara vs Hasbro vid of this figure.

There is very little die cast metal worth mentioning. There's some in the inner frame. Any 5 year old would utterly destroy it in an attempted transformation. It is a fine display piece though...

Ditto. I wanted to avoid the fuss, so I preordered.

very nice video, we should all feel very satisfied whent eh bot reaches our areas..I'm very happy at how he turned out, and the flashing of smoke on the back end doesn't look too bad, so I'm not very upset about it..

Very nice..

Now that's how a Starscream is supposed to look..

Japanese collectors are probably gonna go bonkers, I hope that shows shoji kawamori that the coloring accuracy is paramount in these toys...

Me want. Man, hopefully he starts to show up in SoCal soon. The markup isn't all that high on ebay right now, and I'm awfully tempted to snipe one.

I just won a US Masterpiece Starscream of Ebay as an early birthday present for myself. I thought he would be closer to MP Prime's size, but being a bit shorter doesn't bother me.

What's the DCPI and Wal-mart # for this? I want to call my local store and see if they have any in stock.
