Saw a bunch of Universe Silverbolts at the Brossard TRU (South Shore of Montreal, Quebec). Left them there.

Re: Official Canadian Sightings Thread Ver 2.5
Went to the Mississauga TRU this evening. Plenty of Silverbolts left (about 3 or 4 after I helped myself to one). Only one Elite Guard Bumblebee was left out of the new Animated deluxes.
Erin Mills Town Centre Sears and Zellers had nothing new. Except the Zellers did have a few of the Universe two-packs.

Found 2 Silverbolts at TRU St-Laurent, moved the one I didn't take to the front.

I finally found Animated Blitzwing at TRU along with Universe Unicron, who's been there for a week. Also Universes Dropshot, Blades and Acid Storm were at Walmart.

The Erin Mills Town Center Zellers had lots of the Universe Legends five packs. They also had two Galvatrons and one Acid Storm. With the deluxe sale, I broke down and bought Galvatron and Acid Storm.
Because none of the four items I brought up had activated UPC codes I got them all for $9.99 each. Not too shabby.

TRU Oakville had a ton of Galvatrons (about 8 mixed in with the rest of the universe figures). They didn't have any Acidstorm, though. Other than that, nothing really new, a few Unicrons, and the usual suspects.

A3AU Metrotown has bucketloads of Henkei figures and a few more Animated Lugnuts and Grimlocks than they normally do. They also had exactly one Universe Silverstreak, which is currently on my bookshelf.

South Common Wal-Mart had 6 Animated Ultra Magnus' left this morning after helping myself to one. Four of them were on the center aisle display with other Transformers. The other 2 were in a shopping cart in the aisle with the Legos. Though it was amongst other Transformers so they may have already been put away.
401 & Winston Churchill Wal-Mart did not have any.

I saw two Galvatrons at the Coquitlam Zellers (sadly, no Sideswipes) and an Animated Blitzwing at the Haney Place Zellers.

I went to my local TRU today. Seems there's a sale on Ultras ($10 off) and SWTFs (down to $15).
EDIT: I found out what's going on. The price reductions from the TRU Big Toy book much be in effect! That would explain the price drops:
- Animated Voyagers, $24.99 instead of $29.99 ($5 off)
- Animated Supreme, $59.97 instead of $79.97 (save $20)
- Animated Activators, $7.99 instead of $9.99
- Universe Ultras, $29.97 instead of $39.99
- Animated Bumper Bots, $9.97 instead of $12.99
- Animated Leaders, $44.97 instead of 59.99
Sale lasts from November 1 to November 14. Now might be a good time to stock up before Christmas!

SWEET FIND BUDDY! Thanks again! Looks like the price corrections we were hoping for and got might not last given the recent death of the $CDN (Obituary posted in the newspaper a few days ago). Maybe the life support it is on will make it stronger down the road though.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

At least it won't end up in a wheelchair!
Hope you can take advantage of the deals. I'm thinking of picking up an Onslaught.

A quick death is better I agree

I was thinking the same thing regarding Onslaught. That is a better price point than $39.99 which is just stupid IMHO. I was waiting for a price drop. Silverbolt not doing it for you? I was going to get both actually.

Silverbolt doesn't interest me, neither does Powerglide. But Onslaught owns. Plus, when I get him, maybe I'll resume my Bruticus project that I started with movie figures.

The only pics I have are half-assed mock-ups and stuff like that. I shelved the project for about a year. When I get the ball rolling again, I'll let you know.
The idea was I was trying to make a 'movieverse Bruticus,' using Blackout as Vortex, Rock Lord Starscream as Blast Off (in Cybetronian mode, the bio I wrote explained it), Swindle as Swindle (the bio I wrote explains why he has a jet engine in vehicle mode and how the car is built of special armour, or something), and Brawl as, well, Brawl. I was thinking of using Payload as Onslaught, but that sucked.
I figure now I'll try Classics Onslaught as Onslaught, Animated Swindle, movie Blackout and Brawl again, and maybe Classics Astrotrain. I'm thinking about it/working on it.

I know how hard it is to find time to do such work. Yours sounds interesting. I had picked up 5 Primuses when he went on sale for $40 at TRU with the thought of making Earth, Speed, Jungle and Giant planets, but I never found the time. Bought an extra Primus to make a Nemesis altered universe one as well. Best laid plans never attacked eh?

My mind just blew a little. Holy crap, that solar system of Primii sounds seriously epic! If you get the time to do that, you should, I can imagine it'd be really rewarding to have it completed. Maybe Speed Planet could have track for Micro Machines, or something!
Most of my free time is spent either gaming with friends (don't see them often anymore, gaming keeps us together) and working on my GI Joe comic (shameless plug, see sig).
But enough about me. According to Cybertron.ca user jacobot, walmart dropped the price of Animated Leaders (not movie, specifically Animated) from $49.92 to $39.92. I'm not sure if this is a sale or not, but holy crap. 40 for a Leader? That's what I'm talking about.

Once again sir thanks for the heads up! $40 for a Leader is now less than the US! Great time to be a CDN!

Glad to help, Zed!
I checked the paper before going to work yesterday and I found that the TRU Big Book was inside it. I checked the Transformers section and was surprised -- it was different than the online one I looked at and posted yesterday. I saw the following deals:
- Animated Voyagers (Megatron shown), $5 off figures at $29.99
- Robot Heroes (Waspinator and Rhinox shown), $6.47 instead of $8.99
- Leaders (movie Optimus shown), $44.97 instead of $59.99
- Legends (G1 Jazz Shown), $4.97 instead of $6.99
- Animated Activators (Bumblebee shown), $7.97 instead of $9.99
- Universe Ultras (Onslaught shown), $29.97 instead of $39.99
I live in Quebec, so I guess it's just a regional difference.
Smeg, looks like I'm going to have to pick up a bunch of Robot Heroes as well as Onslaught this weekend. There goes my paycheck...
