He's already been reissued.
Also I don't think FP would do it again any time soon, they've got a whole bunch of new things coming up.

Are there enough Classics Ultra Magnus'(the white one) around for the armor? Using an Optimus on the armor looks just not right.

I was lucky enough to get one of those from a friend stateside when they first came out-didnt even get the set for Magnus-scored it for Skywarp.....I was seriously glad I did.

I'd like a reissue, but I'd also like Hasbro to reissue (Not So-)Ultra Magnus. If they did it with Skywarp in the 2 pack, I'd be fine with that.

I think FP's done with the armor set after their Magnus Madness of the reissue, Powered X2, and Shadow armors were all released at about the same time.

How much is the armor going for nowadays?

bidding exceeds 200 on anything I have seen lately.....even the KOs go for 100+ :shock:

oe auction that finished last week ended up around 260+

nope......I came across one auction with a loose classics UM and the CC armor MISB which had a BIN of 300.it was gone by the time I checked again.I was never going to pay that for it ut then I thought I would sell the Magnus(I have one)on Ebay and make some of the coin back.

Probably not.

FP stuff fetches a premium on the secondary market. That's why I preorder what I can.

I'm hoping in a couple weeks I can go ahead and shell out for the Protector, Munitioner and Explorer sets. I know those are going to cost a lot more in the future than they do now.

I bought City Commander in the first release and haven't regretted it. It was so good that I even bought the Shadow Commander and didn't regret it either.

I think that mold has had it's run. It has had 2 releases as City Commander and 2 repaints. 4 total releases make me think it won't happen. It's possible that they'll revisit it though since it was their breakout success.

I have the same preorder policy on FP stuff as you do .... and I have City Commander V1 as well. But I don't really check back on things I've already bought.

I was one of the lucky ones who got one of the last few robotkingdom had for $119 buck a couple months back. Unfourtunatley Im not gonna pay an arm and a leg for a Ultra Magnus. I bought a KO ultra magnus for under 14 bucks from KO toys. Its a little flimsy so I call him "poopy Commander". I think KOLD (KO toys affiliate) is going to issue Ultra Magnus in better quality. Right now they got a couple of quality KO's of the Shattered Glass Prime which I dont care about. They also have a KO of the DIA Commander armor for a good price. But the KO City Commander armor sold out a while ago.

I saw that pack at a local store that bought some at Target to resell. I grabbed it for Skywarp with Magnus being a complete after thought. The Magnus with CC Armor is now a hilight of my collection with the Skywarp is hidden behind his Gentai release on my seeker shelf.

I did the same, but once I got the set opened, I really liked the "White Optimus" repaint as it was. I would love a second one just to have loose, standing next ot Prime and Nemmy Prime.

I'm pretty much in the same boat with the pre-order policy.

I just got back into collecting TFs when the Commander armors were the big thing, I wish I just would have taken the plunge back then. They are way more than I am willing to pay now a days.

I'm still on the fence with Protector. But with the BIS set, It's quickly become obvious what I need to do lol...

I love the Protector Armor. It made my Rodimus complete, I was very hesitant due to the price point, but I cannot tell you how much I love it.

me too!! on my Chug season 3 Autobots shelf PA Rodimus Prime,Kup,Blurr,Warbot Springer,Device Label Blaster,Perceptor,Hardhead Upgrade,Wreck gar and a few others look great together.

TRUE!! I can tell you all one thing..... the City Commander is HARD as Hell to find and even you do be prepared to fork over - not one - maybe a coupla hundred bucks for it...

Oh, I take one part of my statement... If you look hard enough you maaaaay run across a KO City Commander - BUT that isn't the difficult part.... FINDING THE TRUCK CAB ( :-?

who'd would've thought finding a white re-painted Classics Optimus would be soooo hard) IS.. I was shocked about how scarce they, both the tractor and trailer, are; best I could do was get the Japanese DIA Powered Commander which, as far as I can tell so anyone correct me if I'm wrong, seemed to be the least expensive out of the 4 armors which raised my eyebrow considering that one is said to have some chrome parts...

I just wish I had made up my mind to get one all those months ago, but situations were...... Hell it was a spur of the moment thing when I decided to order one - even NOW I can almost believe I did that even if I was fortunate enough to NOT fork over $250 bucks - including finding a Henkei Optimus......
