Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.
Dammit, Mike Costa & Duane Swierczynski scribbled on my comic book.
I saw Mike at BotCon and he signed the comic then. Duane is in town on tour for his new book Fun & Games and he signed it last night. Not only do I love the comic, Duane's Tales from the Cobra War novella/short story is great.
Found a POC AWE Striker at Ross for $7.99!! I couldn't justify paying $20 for it before. Also found a POC Bllack Hiss Tank, but the box was open and the driver removed.
Just got a 30th Anniversary Skystriker today. $40 @ TRU. I had heard he was $35 elsewhere. Nonetheless, a great homage to the original and a large jet indeed. I love it and highly recommend it!!

Aww, No fair! My local Ross just has the two mechs, both of which I paid full price for.
What's up with people stealing HISS drivers? I've heard of several people reporting jacked drivers all over America. Also one case of a stolen sliding mechanism.

I got lucky with the AWE Striker. Haven't found any Mechs, just cancelled POC Tiger Paws ( with Leatherneck). I actually went back to the same Ross a few weeks later and saw that the Black HISS was still there. What's the appeal of the driver without the tank? Maybe people want a new driver for their vintage HISS. Nonetheless, it still sucks.
Can all the 2011 SkyStriker parts be disassembled again and be put inside its box after displaying it to protect it from dust and yelowing? Please write back. Thankyou

I would say no. According to the instructions I got with the Starstriker the wings are a permanent attachment and I've heard that the nosecone/cockpit is fixed as well. The rear fins do come off so with some modifications to the box it should be able to fit.

I did notice 11 screws in the under belly of the ss plane. There are also four screws beneath each wing. Maybe if they are all unscrewed all the pieces can come off. I wish they had made the box bigger to store it. The same goes with the 2010 At At walker.
SpacerAM2 wrote:Will the Zarana figure be avaliable at retailer or is it just a comic con exclusive?
They're exclusives, but you can find them at some online retailers. Good luck and enjoy the figure!
Online exclusives are more pricey than on regular retailers. And I was hoping to see her in stores. Cause my Mainframe feels lonely and needs some comforting. Maybe she might be released later in a comic pack in regular stores. One can only hope. Thanks!

They couldn't make the box bigger due to new size constraints.

They could atleast made the At At possible for its parts dettach or reattach. The same with the Skystriker.

I think the thought with the Skystriker is if they made it easier to come apart, it wouldn't stay together as well.

You are right also the longer lined up stickers on the cockpit and wings can also get ruined.
I vividly remembering picking up Devil's Due's GI Joe #1 exactly a decade ago. I still enjoyed the 80's retro franchises then (I must've been on this board by that time) but Josh Blaylock totally reignited my love for GI Joe.
