As of noon today, TRU Schaumburg on Golf rd. has 1 MP-10 on the shelf. It's at the 120$ price however.

Had a lot of fun today at the Kane County Fairgrounds. Got there around 8:30am this morning and was there until about 1. I haven't been in over a year ... maybe 2 years. Can't believe how big it's gotten since I first started going in 2002. There were some good Transformers finds there today. There was some loose stuff there but I did see at least 4 dozen or so boxed G1 items there today. Hope some of you were able to make it there. Good times!

St Charles TRU had some FE Arcees, Starscreams, and a Terrorcon Cliffjumper. There was a case of Scouts on the top shelf and TRU started their sale with Weaponizers for $23.99 or $22.99. That's a great deal on a figure that size.

I wish I'd been paying more attention and had known about the Kane County Toy Fair. My daughter's riding lesson was cancelled and we could have gone.

I could have sworn that the Weaponizers were going to be $19.99, I really thought I'd read that somewhere. Still, 24 is pretty good, I'll be getting OP tonight. My daughter got TFP FE Arcee yesterday, awesome.

I was at the Kane county fair, it was so-so from what I saw. There was a decent amount of boxed G1 like Seiberton mentioned, didnt check many prices because I wanst in the market for them, but I did see the tag on a boxed G1 Jetfire- $330.

One guy was selling his loose 2008 Universe TFs, and since they were part of his collection previously, they had all accessories and instructions. Got a Universe Sideswipe and Sunstreaker for $20 each.

Anyone going to Toycon this coming Sunday? Anyone been before and know how good of a show it is?

Rockford TRU has FIVE MP-10's on the shelf. They are at the 120.00 dollar price tag however. Get the feeling they'll be sitting there for a long long while at that price. Unless some filthy scalper snags them all up, which I have not counted out yet. I'm gonna go back when I get home from Minnesota and see if they're still there, if they're not I won't be surprised in the slightest.

Funny thing, if I didn't have 1 already, I'd gladly pay $120.00 for that figure. It's still cheaper than the Takara price.

Did you see the image from one of our users on the homepage of Seibertron.com and in this news story? Based on those images, I don't think any of us need to rush to the store to get this figure.

Big shipments are hitting Aldi for the sale in papers this week. Just got back from one, left 9..frigging NINE vehicons and 2 airachnids there. all for 9.99 each.

this wave seems to have: vehicon, hot shot, airachnid, ratchet, dead end, breakdown, and wheeljack.

BTW- the Aldi mentioned is the one in mount prospect, on golf road.

I grabbed Masterpiece Optimus Prime from Schaumburg today along with an extra TFP FE Vehicon (only need one more for troop building). I think there was an FE Starscream, Arcee and Terrorcon Cliffjumper still there when I left.

I'm on the hunt for GDO Hot Spot and Powerdive. I'd love to be pointed in the right direction if someone wants to tell me what store to go to.

That's one of the ones that my wife and I go to.

Man we really need to get a group of us together soon. Beacon Tap in Des Plaines off Lee Rd has $1 drafts on Wednesday nights. Would any of you be interested in meeting there next Wednesday or the following Wednesday?

I hope this is acceptable to post this here, but I'd like to share some info on a friend's planned Get-Together... (He's not a member of the forums here, so I am hopeful that this is acceptable!)

Hey guys,
I wanted to spread the word regarding an event a friend of mine is putting together.

Event: The Inaugural Wi. Mini-Con!
Date: December 1st
Time: TBD (Roughly Noon-5pm?)
Location: Beaver Dam, Wi

His description of the event, from their Facebook page:

These Mini conventions ("Mini-Cons") will hopefully be starting in Late Nov/Early December of this year.
My vision for the Mini-Cons is a chance for all us mid-western Transformers lovers to get together have, have a good time, do some basic small dealer/swap meet stuff, and then to add to the Con style Each event will host a few fun activities, ranging from Script Readings, Customs classes, Transformers Trivia, and some other stuff based on the season.
I'm hoping that each event will give every collector who attends a chance to get involved in their own little Mini-Convention.

Got to go to the Aldi in Lisle today. Vehicons, Airachnids and Deadends are abundant and at 9.99 ea. Then was in the TRU in Joliet and saw all the 1st editions currently available as well as 2 or 3 MP Optimus'. If there's anything I've learned in the past couple of years since I began collecting these things it's to not panic that something won't be available, eventually they'll all be out there somewhere.

In the city there's a Target on Peterson between Ridge and Western. They had a load of new Prime Deluxes yesterday, including Kup and Rumble.
The TRU on Butterfield road in Lemont (?) had the GDO voyagers today. Mostly MEgatrons and one Powerdive.

Rockford TRU has GDO Voyagers. I had TJ Duckette grab me Hotspot, thanks again TJ! And then I went back for Powerdive..not wanting him at first. But then I saw he was a Decepticon flyer and good lord, those paint apps..so against my judgement I scooped him up. BUT there was still 1 or 2 of him left and about 4 Megatrons. Plus the GDO scout and legends figures.
