In over your head

Weapon: Stinger Missile
Ever feel like you've been in over your head at a job? You met all the qualifications, had a fine interview, but when you hit the job, you didn't understand a thing? I'll fill you in when I'm not at work (though my home connection is down right now).

I'm like that right now. Gives me a headache. No way am I going back to retail, though.

Anyone else?

It happened to me when I first took a supervisor position at the old company I used to work for. It was like everyone was expecting me to already know the work. I stuck with it, and caught on pretty quick. But for the first two weeks I seriously considering quiting.
