Reminder: Check Your Batteries For Corrosion
Just found my MP Grimlock with this battery corrosion. His arm wouldn't light up, so I checked him out, and sure enough... Corrosion. Check your batteries, folks. It could happen to you, too.

One would think, as I live in perpetually damp Britain, that this would be a constant problem for me. Somehow my RiD Omega Prime still has the original batteries with no problems.

You'd think those would have expired by now. What's the expiration date on most batteries? 7 years?

I don't have Magnus out right now so I can't confirm, but my RiD Optimus Prime, despite chrome wear, missing handgun, numerous split tires, and a few rusted over screws, he still has the original Eveready batteries in him and they still work.

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.

don't take that to mean I'm a killjoy just because I can be, though...

Re: Reminder: Check Your Batteries For Corrosion
don't think I ever put batteries in Omega Prime, but Armada Jetfire's batteries (some kind of prototype Hydrogen-Nuclear Cell I imagine) are still going great guns.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.

I guess its time to post that picture again.
Cybertron Leader Class Metroplex. Saw/Axe/Staff Weapon SparkDrinker.

Luckily I was able to clean it all out, mostly carefully chipping it away with a small screwdriver, and wiping it off with a humid q-tip. Then left to dry.
I've since removed batteries from most toys including my R.I.D. Optimus Prime. Just in case.
