A new thing!



This set is worth every penny. Laser Prime, all proper G2'y, is delicious. Nautica, I'm not up on the comics but I'll always welcome a new girl bot. I LOVE the Roddy headmaster. Fastlane is a pudgy little weirdo, cute but needs his bro. And... ugh... Quickswitch... I hate how much I love him. I was so irritated that he wasn't Greatshot, but turns out he's got a lot of his own character. Top to bottom, great set.

Maybe not, only due to not wanting to spend the money. Let's see..MP Artfire, MPM Bumblebee and Optimus, MP Sunstreaker..and then maybe..JUST MAYBE..the second run of MP Megatron. Those are the wants..

BUT THEN!! A set like this, and the other 5 pack set, and I'm like "Why would I buy an MP when I can get 5+ robots for the same price?!"

It's turrible.

Shaj, you and me both with that Quickswitch. He is much better than Sixshot, and I actually really like him, at least much more so than Sixshot

For some reason his jet mode is my favorite. This is the kind of love I wish I had for Sixshot, seeing as how he is the one I really wanted.

He's great, and kind of annoying. Truck thingy is cool, and bot mode LOOKS awesome. He's posable and expressive, but some missing locking tabs make him a pain in the ass.

There's a soft detent in his biceps that don't really do much, and a tab (for alt mode tabbing) in the perfect spot to give him some extra locking power, but it's wasted because there's nothing to tab into. And his torso... as far as I can tell, folds up with no tab whatsoever. So I'm constantly knocking his torso apart. Putting his cannon on his shoulder helps this, but isn't a proper fix. This is all made more irritating when you transform him and see how many great locking tabs he has to keep his alt mode together. The bot mode totally gets the shaft.

To get those tabs to lock into the roof racks properly you have to lift the top torso just a hair while pushing the arms/shoulders down. Super secure and if you lift the torso apart the arms will move up while untabing.

I'm curious about the bicep indent you are talking about? Alt mode is rock solid as will. Very much a phenomenal figure with some clever and considerate transformations and just a slick almost like they slipped us a Takara figure paint job. And that light piping

Due to some... unpleasantness... I have cut Amiami out and am only using HLJ for my importing, and HLJ has some real strange practices about what does and doesn't hit their front page. I've missed out on like 5 Takara pre-orders lately and if 36 went back up and I missed it... well

I think his backpack is amazing! I'm excited for him to join the other jerks on my shelf. They had better announce Jazz soon..urge to not buy Downbeat is fading..

The ears are way toooo small. The face is way too similar to inferno and I don't see sun streaker in it.

I gotta buy all the mp jazz's that come out. First one is coolsville then downbeat

Fun fact, "Coolsville" was a nickname for Jazz's character in G1 before they came up with his official name. Huzzah TFWiki!!

ALSO! I think I like everything about Coolsville EXCEPT his head. Looking at my G2 Jazz right now, I just don't see Jazz toy or animation in that headsculpt!! I like everything else about him too, right down to the accurate alt mode details!!

The face looks a bit better. A review went up and its not as bad. He weighs 9 ounces. And mp-10 weighs 14 and mp blue streak weighs 4 ounces. Tw put a lot of work into him probably so they won't go bankrupt and they get more time to find new designers
