United Kingdom Transformers sightings
Hello chaps!
I'M BACK!!! *grins slightly manically*
Yup, I'm now living in Northern Ireland with my Fiancee's family and finally have Internet access. Wireless Internet is such a great invention!
Anyhow, I'm slowly finding the local toy stores and can confirm sightings of most of the movie toys. No sign of Starscream or some of the other deluxes too.
The only bad news is that I can't get any of my figures out. I share the house with a 2 and 4 year old and after seeing what they did to a box of Lego I bought for them I'm scared for my Transformers!
Anyhow, enough from me for now, but I am back!

Thanks for the pics Wheelies Executioner!
I beleive it was siad that it uses the smaller Scalelectrix system, so I'd imagine it works with them, if not the larger ones.
Where abouts are these placed in TrUs? On the tf display instore, with other such toys instore, or on the mige display at the entrance?
Glad to have you back!

I've just got back from TRU Watford. When i last went they were putting everything out. This time they had it all finished. I gotta say the display is really great. I love the big bumblebee cutout in the middle.
Anyway no sign of the deluxes and starscream but they had have everything else now. Not only did i pick up Ironhide & the mini-con dirt digger team...but i managed to get my misses to buy them for me! Result!
Its nice to have Transformers mania back.

They had them both in the large display aswell as with the other Scalextric sets.
And you are right about it being the Micro version. It's 1:64 scale compared to 1:32 on the larger sets.

It apears TrU arnt the only shop with a buy one get one half price offer on tfs, both Argos and Wollworths do too. Also Woolworths has 25% off all Starwars toys (including SWTFs), my local branch had the Mellenium falcon for £23ish.
I ended up gettign the two protoforms from Argos, and Im surprised how not crap they are.

Cheers for the warm welcome - especially with respect to Jaffa Cakes!

Yup, back at last! Now I have to live with only two Toys R Us Stores and having to figure out where all the 'nerdy' sci-fi and comic book stores are in this emerald isle.
At least the Guinness tastes better!
I think that I'm going to have to get professional help trying to get hold of my plastic crack

BTW can anyone suggest a 'good' movie figure to try - I'm still not a fan of the look of these toys but I need to get some sort of TF fix or I'm going to go nuts!
Oh yeah - for those who care (or not) I FINALLY(!) got MP Brave Exkaiser - this guy rocks something very hard. I'd rate him higher than MP Starscream and almost on par to MP Megatron.
Now I need to get me MP Ultra Magnus.

YOu cant go wrong with Leader Prime. He is a great prime. Lots of nice little touches and I really like the way his feet transform.
I also REALLY like Ratchet. People poo poo him for his green colour but its not as gross as it looks in some photos and the transformation is very neat. He currently has pride of place stood in front of this 32" monitor in a relaxed pose with one foot on the screens stand. I say give Ratchet a go.

Spiffing is a great word I dont use enough!
Anyway, it's not implemented yet, I suspect he wanted to get the general scheme working properly before he added the additional burdon of choice.
I for one intend to stay con.

I go on holiday for a week, and the site changes. Personally, I like it more than the last version. And I'm staying con.
Don't have anything to say or add to this (as I only got back yesterday) but I will keep my eyes peeled for Barricade.
And another cl Astrotrain if he is comming out over the summer.
Is the movie game out here today?
