I don't think I could even visit California at this point. I'd be broke before I got off the plane.
Aww we aren't
that bad here! But seriously...don't visit! SAVE YOUR MONEY

We lived in LA for about 2 years. It was nice in some ways, terrible in others. I was so glad to get out of that city when we moved but now I miss it. My in laws left to so now there is no reason to ever go there for a visit.

Well this is a good site for me to look around seeing as how I actually work at Wal Mart. Thanks. Now I know what to expect if I get totally screwed up by an accident.

I have known quite a few people who work at Wal Mart and never had a problem, they like their job and have no desire to work elsewhere. I can tell you that my husbands last place of employment which begs and sells grass and bird seed is a horrible place to work. They have these huge metal buildings that have no air movement whatsoever that they store the product in. In the summer here it is near 100 degrees at times with a 80+ % humidity. He took a temperature gauge in there one day and it said 140 degrees. The employee's breath in the green penncoat dust all day that makes the tissue turn neon green when they blow their nose. They bomb for mice then people complain of numbness in their lips and hands. They can force you to work 7 days a week for as long as they want. Many people still work there because it is the only place in town to work. Other then that is is farming or drive an hour to the city. We have had health inspectors come in and the place meets the requirements for safety so nothing can be done. Thankfully my husband got sick of it and decided to drive an hour. It is great his place of employment is heated in the winter cooled in the summer and they do not like overtime at all. Much of the nonsence that cause him unbelievable stress will not be tolerated at his present job.
