Seriously, why must Hasbro & Takara insist on making all the cool figures so damned limited in number???

actually, that particular Overload is in clearish deep Red and really compliments him very well. It is not the regular Overload who has a lighter almost orangish tint to his body. If you ever run across a Magna Convoy set, I suggest you buy it, and buy it fast! this particular figure will only grow exponetially in value as time progresses. If you wish, you could take a look at my extensive reviews or Armada Prime listed below my sig, they are great reading with tons of images lifted from Remy's site, and seibertron's galleries. It's really a great useful tool when deciding what you want to buy, or understanding a particular toy that you own.

I am gonna add some more one of these days, as soon as I get some time, for now It's just the ones you see below my sig.. but once I get atleast 15 more reviews under my belt I'm gonna start a thread that lists everyone, plus I'm taking some other people's reviews that are good friends and adding them to the downloads, with images for others to read, it'll have their names on them for recognition.

But to answer your question of Overload adding to the Powerlinx version in terms of colors, i'd say yes, i do like it very much. I'm not a fan of the Jetfire pants version of Prime like Waaaaaghlord is, but if you like here's the best combo's I have seen so far...

Powerlinx Super Optimus Prime + Overload = the reds in Overload, though a little off from Powerlinx Prime work well together...
Powerlinx Super Optimus Prime + Overload + Powerlinx Jetfire = the reds and dark blues in the powerlinx Prime work well with the reds of Overload and the dark blues in Powerlinx jetfire
Super Optimus Prime + Overload = reds are a bit off but wrok well together
Super Optimus Prime + Energon Ultra Magnus = the red and blues are in equal ratios aesthetically
Powerlinx Optimus Prime + Energon Ultra Magnus = the Powerlinx colors compliments the blues and reds very well
Powerlinx Optimus Prime + Energon Ultra Magnus + Powerlinx Jetfire = Almost Blue Optimus Prime..


the one combo that I dislike:

any of the Primes + regular Jetfire = a crappy color scheme, with the grey's standing out as a mismatch in colors against Super Prime's or Powerlinx Prime's colors..



That's just my opinion anyways..
