Blackout is my only voyager right now, the only other one I want later is probably Optimus only. Besides, can't find Optimus anyway.

I don't think Blackout is that bad, but I haven't gotten a chance to play with other Voyager toys yet. Blackout could be better, but he's not that bad. I would most likely buy him again if they ever make him leader...otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with the Voyager since he was one of my favourites in the movie.

I don't like Blackout's robot mode (sheesh he's tiny) but his copter mode is actually really cool and one of my favourite vehicle modes. Beats most alt. modes.

i've commmented on this topic in about 4 other threads and i maintain the same standpoint. although a leader class Blackout figure would be cool, ultimately he should be a supreme class figure. when in bot mode he's really not much bigger that a deluxe figure and is dwarfed by other Voyager figures. therefore as a leader figure he would probably still end up being a bit smaller than the other Leaders. therefore i think he needs the Supreme class treatment. for the sake of his scale and to maybe incorporate his "backpack" kibble into his bot form. there is already an Autobot Supreme figure, and i think we should get a Decepticon Supreme figure as well. and it should be Blackout in my opinion!

I think he means Ultimate Bumblebee.
Personally, I love Blackout. I have none of the plastic or paint problems you are mentioning, the blades are extremely sturdy (so much so, I don't want to try and remove them as clubs like in his gallery) and his automorph only doesn't work when going into alt mode on the rare occassion. Into robot mode it works all the time. Scorpinoks cage is tight, the legs clip into place in heli mode. He can stand in poses with his backpack on without having to lean on it.
I have no other movie figures (yet) but I personally love Blackout.

I agree that Blackout should have been bigger. I would gladly fork out $40 for a leader Blackout. But I would much rather pay $50 for a supreme Bonecrusher. I thought he was cool as $*it in the movie. One can only hope.
What Transformer are you? (Movie) My Results:
Ironhide
You are the weapon specialist. You are probably the only Autobot who doesn't give a crud about the humans and repeatedly asks permission to blow something up. You are very strong and big as well as always suggesting the BIGGER sort of weapon. You are also good at sports; mostly contact sports. You can be easily irritated and may have anger issues. You also have a huge truck mode. Sweet.

Are you sure? Starscream and Blackout achieved more than the rest of the Decepticons (apart from the man himself - Frenzy.) give me a supreme class Megatron or Blackout anyday.

I have all the voyagers minus Optimus and Megs, Starscream acctually is my favorite, and blackout is my least, with Ironhide in second and Ratchet in third. I honestly don't think screamer is that bad, he looks damn near identical to his big screen counterpart, and the transformation is alot more complex than you'd expect! My only complaints are the missle launchers that don't wanna grip the missles, and the fact the missle launchers are permanant fixture and can't be removed (the big screen version had hands that could transform into guns)

Unfortunately Ultimate BB isn't really a supreme. He is in a class all by himself. Though apparently lacking some what for it.
I'm really kind of disappointed that the movie line ignore so many logical size classes for figures. Blackout should have been the one supreme for this line. As there is usually only one. Prime and Megs are fine and the introduction of Brawl as a leader is also good. Then they should have used the ultra class for Bonecrusher and Starscream. The rest are fine as they are. Then we would have them all pretty much to scale more or less. Clearly Starscream would be undersized but he would be better than he is now and all the class ranges would be used. And we would all be pretty happy about the scale situation.
And if they wanted to they could fill in other blank spots with other characters from either the game the comic or the book or whatever else they have to use. Heck give Frenzy a real figure in the bassic class. That would be kind of cool.

I agree... they could have made a WAY better Blackout if they tried. He's one of my favorite Decepticons in the movie as well.. and he kicked major butt (although they never really showed what "happened" to him, and that ticked me off.
They Should definitely make a Leader class version... at LEAST!
