How do you even begin to create something like this on your own?

OMG, wow! That is amazing! I wish so many of these cool customs were in production.

Those Hearts of Steel designs really need to be made into toys. The titanium 6" line would be perfect for them...

It would be good for the Titaniums, if they were a little less cartoony-looking... unfortunately that put me off of them.

The scale is pretty good.

I never read HoS, Prime actually didn't make an appearance as a train? only in concept art?... that kinda sucks, man... I remember when I first saw the concept sketch for Prime's robot mode... I fell in love with the design and couldn't resist trying to colour it...


I can't wait to see one of these models in full colour...

Prime looks pretty good with his G1 color scheme. Most of the Transformers in the HoS series kind of had a washed out single color scheme which is kind of appropriate for the era, but seeing Prime with his bright colors is kind of refreshing.

HoS is one of the first series that really didn't use Megatron or Prime but could have. The Decepticons leadership focused around Shockwave and Starscreamer.

I loved the logic of Optimus and Megatron not being in HoS.
Megatron: Starscream wanted to lead the Decepticons, plain and simple.
Optimus: Bumblebee didn't want to wake him on his day off.

I would love a HoS Titanium line to go along with War Within but I really want a larger scale then Titanium provides. Voyager size Optimus, Megatron and Starscream at least to really have solid details and posablity with a leader class Shockwave. Deluxe size Bumblebee & crew and Insecticons.

But skipping Scourge. A train car/blimp? Pass.

Good news, the seller told me he plans on making more because the molds are still available. He's gonna let me know when they're available.

Yeah, the Goodyear Scourge was really like an afterthought in HoS. Shockwaves' Monitor-esque battleship was my favorite design. Shame he was only really in the comic for like three panels.

I think it'd be worth it for an extremely limited edition custom OP. At very best he'll make 100? tops.

I'd pay 100 to 200 for it. Better than a Botcon repaint of some crap.

I would pay $100 for that. But I would really prefer if he didn't use eBay. Just never had any confidence nor much like for eBay. Not really sure why smaller site feel better to me but I do prefer a set price rather than a bidding system.

Yeah, I don't like bidding on eBay either. I prefer Buy It Now, if it's available.

You're right, it would be worth it...I just don't have a lot of money to spend.

I would guess since this is a side project and rather expensive that he won't be in to much of a rush. So we have some time to save up. Just a matter of deciding what's more important to you right now.

I don't intend to get a lot of the movie figures so that saves me a bundle right there. On the other hand the clothing and other items...

I've still got Alts, Classics, Cybertron and Energon to catch up on... not to mention reissues and upcoming Masterpieces.

I'm talking Skywarp and the hopefully eventual Anime Starscream...and there's Encore, a few KOs that'll never otherwise be released (Mirage & Wheeljack), music label Soundwave, and a HUGE back catalogue of figures I didn't get when they were out... Hell, I don't even have a MP Prime trailer either.

MP Primes trailer is hard to find. Even on ebay for a first day of auction its over 60 bucks in bids. Just Toys is just crap. I saw a guy sell one on ebay he made himself, Im thinking of doing that.
