Deluxe Bonecrusher
Is it just me or did Hasbro royally eff up with this one?!?? I mean this is one of IMO the coolest movie chars and the toy kinda sucks... The articulation is not there at all.. The transformation is kinda boring.. The arms look kinda retarded and way too long.. and overall the toy feels kinda fragile. What do you guys think of this figure.?.?

It's fugly enough I chose not to buy it. My movie cast will just have to be incomplete. What a shame!

Collection Count: Just enough G1 & Classics to make this look good!

What? Are you kidding me? I think he's one of the best Deluxe Movie figs out there!
He has a lot of articulation. I really like his colors, and he does look more accurate towards the movie than the others have. Besides, his transformation is "different", which I think is awesome. He's not fragile at all, in fact, when I was flipping one of those shoulder panels up, I literally cut myself.
I just can't get over the fact that his vehicle mode is completely useless. I don't even know how it works.
But yeah, that's just my opinion.

I agree. I don't know why they gave him that stretching arm gimmick. His freakin head is to low!!! And the size is soo out of scale. He should have been a voyager.

I do think he is very movie accurate wether you like this particular figure or not although I do agree his scale is way off. I also would have loved at least a voyager class version of him.

I bought him because i liked the looks of the figure. Didn't regret it. His style seems to be hit or miss. Mostly preferrance.
There is something that really annoys me however, and this is that almost everyone mistransforms him, and then complains about his looks.
1. The crotchplate fits in the grooves on the wheels and lock the legs in the right position. I've seem photos where his legs are 180° twisted just because they didn't lock the legs.
2. The wheels on his feet are supposed to be shifted (not just rotated) to the inside of his legs. Yes, this is possible and intended. It looks so much better, but nobody does it. Not pictures in the Seibertron gallery and not the picture on the back on the packaging do this and it looks just horrible.

Well, yes, we can agree is is more movie accurate than most other figures, but I think he is too short. Desgin wise, he looks good, but I would prefer a larger version of him.

Oh no I have him... Im just dissapointed in him... I would have liked him to be at least voyager, if not leader class and be alot more articulated and better sculpted!

Ah, Bonecrusher. I really liked him when I first got him, and I still do; next to Wreckage I think he's the best from the first Wave of movie deluxes. However, after the second Wave came out...really its only his bio(he hates EVERYTHING!) that's keeping him on my awesome list.
Concept Bumblebee, Dropkick, Arcee, Longarm, and, yes, even Dreadwing, totally kick his ass in terms of sheer awesomeness.
Even so, he's still a good figure, though I do agree he could have been a lot cooler as a Voyager, possibly even fuglier. He's not supposed be Sexy Jones after all...

OOooooo, I'm on the REALLY like bandwagon...he is one of my fave Deluxe figs as well.
I admit when he came out, he didn't impress me in the least...but now every time my 4 yr old brings him to me to transform, I'm like a kid at Christmas
I love both robot and vehicle mode, they are really well designed IMO.

This is my favorite movie figure, out of all the deluxes i purchased. In fact i liked this guy so much i bought another one.
The only thing i don't like are the painted windows but i can live with that, just wished they used different shade of blue.
The other thing thats kind of annoying are his back wheels that are hard to align properly.

I agree that Bonecrusher should have been a voyager class figure, since he isnt i am content and decently pleased that the deluxe figure is still nice and heaps better then alot of the other toys ( especially the Drone toys).
I think one of his problems is in his scale though mostly with his vehicle mode, robot mode isnt all that bad. I think for a deluxe class toy he holds up really well. He has (to me) some nice detail, especially in his legs, which surprisingly have a great amount of stability and i can get him into some nice poses.
His color scheme could have been a few tones darker, but its close enough. As for the long arms thing, while it is odd and seems idiotic, just simply leave them folded in and he looks great. I liked how the scoop can be switched into the claw as he used in the movie, which to me adds to the toy a bit. I also enjoyed the way he transformed, for me it was unique and fun. He didnt have any problems like Brawl's arms not snaping in or Blackout's pegs that felt like they would break.
Sure he isnt the greatest toy of the movie line but he holds up really well and though he could be better ( and as voyager) i still liked him.

Yes i agree as well. I had also expected more from Starscream and Megatron ( though the Best Buy Megs i have in the mail looks promising). I tend to talk a little too much when it comes to Transformers and i have my own gripes with figures that i love to death *cough* Blackout's shoulder pegs *cough*

Always talk about scale. I may have been out of the game for a while, but G1 stuff was not all in scale, and it was pretty cool. Of course, I don't re-enact scenes or anything. He is in pretty damn good scale with Blackout and Deluxe Brawl, atleast in robot mode.
I like him, first fig I bought when the store accidentally released them a week early. Arms may have a lot of extra stuff hanging off it, but the legs have some nice detail and the face looks crazy (as long as you don't make him have a chicken neck). For a vehicle without weapons on it, it is pretty sick looking. Why again does scale matter. Voyager would be cool, but I am happy enough.

QFT, I sure hope we get a Ultimate Bonecrusher...
