Bonecrusher is a good figure but the articulation is weird and the stretching arm thing is effin weird. I just wish he was voyager sized at least.

Barrelass wrote:Always talk about scale. I may have been out of the game for a while, but G1 stuff was not all in scale, and it was pretty cool. Of course, I don't re-enact scenes or anything. He is in pretty damn good scale with Blackout and Deluxe Brawl, atleast in robot mode.

I like him, first fig I bought when the store accidentally released them a week early. Arms may have a lot of extra stuff hanging off it, but the legs have some nice detail and the face looks crazy (as long as you don't make him have a chicken neck). For a vehicle without weapons on it, it is pretty sick looking. Why again does scale matter. Voyager would be cool, but I am happy enough.

Thats because G1 was like 6 or 7 different toy lines brought together. For the movie, there should have been a scale to make the line more unified. Though without leader class, they are somewhat in scale.

I really think that Blackout and Bonecrusher should have been Voyagers (if not leader class), Starscream and Brawl as leader class and Megs as a Supreme class.

I know that they kept the figs small so the kiddies could afford them, but it would have been nice to have all of the alt modes be scale-accurate.

Oh well, not going to happen now, so we might as well enjoy what we did get.

I was disappointed in Bonecrusher when I first got him, but he is a pretty sweet little mold with decent articulation and tons of playability(skates/claw, etc.) The only thing that disappoints me now is his size, should have been Voyager minimum.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

Botcon 2010--Souvenirs Rapido, Scorch/Shattered Glass Ravage

MISP preferred, but will consider opened NM/Complete, especially for older figures. Lots of TFs for trade! Please PM any inquiries, serious interest only!

Disappointing. Lots of kibble on his arms. His head seems like an after thought. His legs aren't so bad and seem good enough. Looking at him from the back is weird, he has no ass or hips to speak of. And his claw falls off all the time.

Bring me a larger and better Bonecrusher!

Blackout is a voyager...albeit a small one. If anything he needs to be a leader-class.

Bonecrusher would be sweet in Voyager or Leader; I would gladly shell out the $$ for both

For his size, I think Bonecrusher is quite good - he's very stable for posing and and looks suitably menacing.

My one gripe with it would be the forearms - they could have been made so much better with just one additional hinge along the length of the section that flips up from under teh windows. If they allowed that section to fold in half, back on itself, the piece would lay flat(ish) instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.

Since they didn't put that additional hinge in, though, I just think of it as a built-in blast deflector / shield :)

I think one of his problems is in his scale though mostly with his vehicle mode, robot mode isnt all that bad. I think for a deluxe class toy he holds up really well. He has (to me) some nice detail, especially in his legs, which surprisingly have a great amount of stability and i can get him into some nice poses.

His color scheme could have been a few tones darker, but its close enough. As for the long arms thing, while it is odd and seems idiotic, just simply leave them folded in and he looks great. I liked how the scoop can be switched into the claw as he used in the movie, which to me adds to the toy a bit. I also enjoyed the way he transformed, for me it was unique and fun. He didnt have any problems like Brawl's arms not snaping in or Blackout's pegs that felt like they would break.

Sure he isnt the greatest toy of the movie line but he holds up really well and though he could be better ( and as voyager) i still liked him.

I too didnt like the long arm unfolding thing. I didnt get it. But if you look in the movie, and pause it, he does unfold his arms! So it is accurate afterall!

You can see in the upper right corner (his left arm) that it is folded in slightly unfolded or coming out.

Rochade, Thanks for the pic, I did have his feet transformed correctly, I never noticed that the gallery and the back of the box were incorrect till you mentioned it. I agree it the pics make Bonecrusher look dumb.

Just fixed his legs and he looks alot better. Bonecrusher is the best deluxe figure next to Wreckage. Also, over hre, he was quite hard to find.

I just got him, finally. He's always warming the shelves around here but now with the current sale I decided to pick him up over Brawl (I need both later, but only wanted one for now). Glad I chose him. He's a bit too small but I can live with that, the robot fits into the car so tight and the transformation was simple but fun. He's my favourite Decepticon toy so far from the movie! :) (I only have Barricade, Blackout and Scorponok at the moment).

I like Bonecrusher a lot. He is rather tiny in scale, but his robot mode detail and articulation is awesome. Wish he was bigger, but overall I think he's worth the money.

I agree on that, Wreckage is killer looking, and he better land in TFTM II.

Ah i see, nice catch with that, when watching the movie its a lil hard to see with him in action, i thought his arms were just big/bulky but now i see that his gimick is non idiotic and is akin to the movie :P.

Im mostly looking at his face/body when watching that scene so :P .
