I picked up cyberverse blackout on a whim, and wow...I enjoy these little pieces of plastic crack more than the bigger DOTM stuff. The following days I grabbed sentinel prime, Optimus, hatchet, and megatron. I feel like an idiot for sleeping on the guys for so long!

I just acquired Leader Class Setinel Prime in a trade, and I must say, I am impressed. I didn't like him at first, when he came out, but for some reason getting him now changed my mind. I like both modes, he was easy enough to transform, and surprisingly mine stands up fairly solidly. My only gripe is that his dual blade can't be split up like in the movie, and he doesn't have his cannon.

I gotten a few lately before we no longer see any more DOTM figures; this morning I finally picked up Leader Class Setinel Prime, i was hoping that it would go down in price but is not so I just picked it up before I no longer can find it. I couldnt get any of the other Leader figures i wanted (Optimus Prime from ROTF,Megatron and Starscream). This morning I also picked up Cyberverse Arcee Stealth Fighter for my son. This week I also picked up the Fallen from a vendor in Amazon, kind of cheap I think, less than $ 20 dollars, I think I was lucky to still get my hands on one of those.

I'm so new about this whole thing so I have to figure out how to post pics, I believe you need to host the images somewhere and then use the <img> tag, ah?

DOTM 2-pack with Purple Megatron and Bumblebee. Not bad, but I thought the BB was the DOTM one.. but it was the ROTF version.. Cool blaster though.

Megatron,
Crankcase,
Battle in the Moonlight Crankcase,
Crowbar,
Ironhide,
Sentinel Prime,
and RotF [Takara] Legends Mixmaster and Long Haul
and RotF Scout Rollbar!

...which means now I need the rest of mini movie Devy. xD

They're the first Cyberverse Commanders I've bought.. it's a touch disappointing how much smaller they are than the old Scout class, but they detail and articulation is spot on! I can't honestly complain for the price I got all of them for anyway, lol.

We made it to botcom and back. What an amazing weekend we had. There were lots of things to see, fortunately, we went with a budget in mind and we stay within. From what I observed, the event seemed like a success; I even saw Peter Cullen from a few feet away anyway and a few other personalities but I did not get too see any of the big YouTube personalities out there. Yes, I also got a few items for my son and for me:

DOTM HA Soundwave for me (I only saw two of these in the whole floor, I took one and one other guy took the other one)

DOTM Deluxe Soundwave for me (I only saw two of these in the floor, when I went back, there was only one left so I took it with me as well)

DOTM Legends Ratchet for my son, he likes these little figures, I lost his original by accident

Other none-DOTM figures that I always wanted to get but never did:

ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime for my son

ROTF Deluxe Class Jolt for my son, I got it for free for buying Leader OP

Transformers Movie Voyager Rescue Ratchet (the red and white one) for my son, it only cost me $ 2.50

Transformers Movie Deluxe Bonecrusher for my son, it only cost me $ 2.50

HFTD Sea Spray for me (I did not think I would ever get this figure, it was a dream come true to find it)

HFTD Sea Spray for my son (he is already having a blast with this figure, learned to transform it already)

HFTD Night Ops Ratchet for me (amazing paint job on this figure, I did not know it was this good)

A few other things:

A botcom hat, and a shirt

Some Autobot decals

An Angry bird for my daughter, she collects those little guys, she found the one with the long beak, don’t know his name, he looks like a toucan.

I got some free collector cards from some Japanese dudes, really cool guys by the way. They also gave us some mini (microcons?) transformers and a Star wars Transformer mini figure for free, we were surprised when they approached us and offered us those gifts.

One item that I really wanted and I did not get was movie series posters, I could not find any of those there; there was plenty of work art but I was not looking for that.

One final observation, there were plenty of expensive items at the event, but if your plan was to save, there are plenty of good quality items and sometimes rare, at a good price, you just have to look. I love the dealers with the lose items on the tables on display.

Is that your collection on the picture? do you keep your figures in the boxes? how many HA Leadfoots (Leadfeet) did you get? You got them for a good deal.

I bought 7. One to open, and a few in case the value will increase. I admit I was overexited to see them at last in Québec. And at that price, meaning 18.50$ total for each instead of 40$+, I went full agro! Still, I should only have taken 2.

I have a rule. If I keep a figure MOC or MIB, I must have another one loose. So what you see on the previous image are my spares, Exept BW Randy (GPS) and 2007 Scorponok.
I open everything, even the Masterpieces.

BTW, Leadfoot is way better than I imagined. Kinda hard to transform because you have to improvise a compromise between screen acuracy and a good looking bot.

(Reposted from another thread but thought it was appropriate here, too)

Just got DotM deluxe Soundwave in the mail today... I am surprised at how terrible this mold is! He seems terribly uninspired. Clumsy and unsatisfying transformation, no ball joint for the neck, extremely small stature, enormous back kibble that hangs nearly to his feet, and "fake" parts galore (always a pet peeve of mine - in particular the grill that acts as his chest and his skinny thighs sculpted to look like the rear of the car, even though that part's already used for his lower legs). Unlike a lot of collectors on the board, I enjoyed much of the DotM main line and thought there were some really special toys that came out last year. This is not one of them. However...

It's SOUNDWAVE! I'm really just happy to have him in my DotM collection posed with BB and Barricade. I think I can live without Que (as great as I think his mold looks), but Soundwave is an essential character in this movie. Glad I got him for a reasonable price. And he's not all bad. Great head sculpt. They at least got the wheels mounting behind his head correct. Glad those forearm discs are featured prominently even though they're too loose to stay extended. Also, his gun is incredible, both in size, looks, and transformation. The only other mechtech gun worth a damn was BB's, and Soundwave's looks great pointed right at poor 'Bee's head. But what's cool about both Soundwave and BB's guns is that they actually transformed, whereas most others in the line just had a chainsaw or blade pop out.

Anyways, my DotM collection is almost complete, with Leadfoot being last on my list.

Don't wait too much. He's a great figure once transformed properly, and he's pretty cheap right now. You better hurry because you never know when the prices can get an unexpected spike!

If you can't find him localy, there's always Ebay:

http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_from=R40 ... Categories

Even there, the price is reasonable. If you consider 30-40$ shipping included rearonable.

I cant believe you got seven of those leadfoots, those things are amazing, I only have one, I paid $ 29 for it so you should be satified with your purchase. That rule of yours does make this hobby so much expensive. You remind me of this guy Red Oktobre, he has two or three of each character out there. I dont have everything open myself, I dont have the room to display my figures the way I want to; so for the meantime, they will stay in their respective boxes. Going back to Leadfoot, I really like the HA figure, he deserves more credit that what he gets. He is a great figure with plenty of details, his head sculpt is fantastic, a bit of a complex transformation which is what I like about the movieverse toys. As I finish with my movieverse collection, I'm already looking forward to 2013 or is it 2014 when next movie comes out, I'm thinking about taking a break for a while.

First impression is what counts but once you slow down, and look at the details of the Deluxe and HA figures you can see the nice details such as the bright blue colors of the sonic boom weapons or the detail built into the mold itself. This character suffers from the same paint job as Sideswipe but it does have some good qualities to itself - it has grown on me. You should get Leadfoot while you can a good price. Leadfoots are flying off the shelfs where i live, the last time I saw them, there were only two on the rack and they were $ 39 dollars each, also, you might have problems finding HA roadbuster, I have not see them in a while.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd order him right this minute if I had $60 or 70 to spend, but unfortunately I don't have a choice but to wait a little bit. I may regret it later... wouldn't be the first time!

The good news is that it looks like Que will be available for a reasonable price thanks to Hasbro releasing him in Asia.

Well, me too. Deluxe Leadfoot is the only one who can complete the Deluxe Wreckers after all.

BTW, I do recommend the Legends ones. Appart Legend Topspin who is very bad, Legend Roadbuster and Legend Leadfoot are both excellent figures. I love them fighting the excellent Dreads.
