Can't come close to taking the credit for the paint job. Good friends of mine Matt, who originally painted it, and Ken who touched it up for selling standards did all the work. I have 2 custom Devys, you can check them out showcased here http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-collection-showcase/287036-padres-collection.html

Dude, where did you get the cases? I've got 4 bookshelves, an entertainment center, and- most importantly- my bar for display, but they are unsecured. Those cases are sweet...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

LOL thanks! 10 detolf's from the December 12th sale @ ikea. $19.99 each, down from $59.99. I need more to display all my stuff, but I don't really have much space left to put them up. I got fed up with dust from being displayed on book shelves from walmart. Theses aren't 100% dust proof, but they do keep out at least 80.

No sign of Generations at the TRU in Burbank, just ROTF leftovers.

Of all places to find this, I saw 3 Legends Devastator sets at ToyLand, a cheapy cut-rate toys store in Golf Mill Mall where KB Toys used to be. They had 3 sets, and here's the kicker: $29.99. Yep, cheaper than Walmart. Go get yours! FWIW thay also have a bunch of KO Transformers and transofrming robot-type toys, including a nice-looking yellow G1 Devastator for $15, appears to be full-sized.
Nothing new at TRU or Target in Golf Mill. That is all.

Ran by the Rockford State St. hotspots to no avail today....thought every single store had TF's on sale... if you are looking for clearance, this seems to be the time.

I had such a blast at Botcon this year. It was a nice event, just a little lacking on the dealer side of things from Cons past, but stil fun indeed. Seibertron as alwys it's a pleasure speaking with you. You're a real class act, and the little ones are adorable!

My girlfriend and I just got back from the Target at Howard and Kedzie and man, we ain't found ****. The shelves were so barren, it made me think of a post-apocalyptic future where all the land has been scorched and left to remind the remnants of humanity of what they once had, and to serve as a constant notice of the struggle and pointlessness of life from now until the end.
Not a single brightspot to be found. I almost drank this entire bottle of bleach in my disappointment, but 'fortunately' my girlfriend stopped me, so I only drank half.
Oh yeah, and the Target at the HIP, they got nothing new as well.

Re: Illinois Transformers sightings
Crystal Lake TRU has a ton of the WFC Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures. No sign of Thrust or Drift, for some strange reason. Lots of Animated Cybertron Ratchets, and three (matte) Arcees. The first wave of yellow box Voyagers were there (1 Ratchet, 1 Payload, 2 Sea Sprays), the single packs of Powercore Combiners were there, I think the activators were there, and the new Legends as well. Got me a Bumblebee and Legends Ravage, but I was hoping Thrust would be there too! Crazy how much new stuff is suddenly out there (at TRU).

I was going to tell you that they're just toys, but I started picturing a TF-less future, and I curled up into a ball on the floor, whimpering. Save me some bleach!
EDIT- TRU in Bloomingdale had one Generations Dirge. One. That's it for the new stuff. Grah.

I want to see the new stuff in person, any sightings yet? I saw that one lone Gen Thrust at TRU Bloomingdale, but that's out of my way to go again. Shout it out when you see it!

Re: Illinois Transformers sightings
Algonquin TRU had two each of the new Leader Prime and Leader Starscream, along with the HFTD Voyagers and Deluxes, minus Bumblebee (bought the last one). Also had two Thrusts, no Drifts, and a bunch of WFC Prime and BB. One each of the 5 pack PCCs, and some of the singles, and then there were a few Animated Arcees and Ratchets.

Found just one of each WFC Optimus and Bumblebee at TRU in N. Riverside. No sign of anything else new.
But, oddly enough, I went into a nearby Walgreens afterward to get a Cherry Vanilla Pepsi (which is awesome, BTW) and for the heck of it, looked at the toy aisle to find:

A lone HFTD Scout, the first HFTD toy I've seen anywhere. All for the cost of just $.20 less than I just paid for one deluxe at TRU.

While I did not see for myself, I called the TRU in Schaumburg and they told me they had 8 Leader Starscreams and 30 PCC Aerialbots. I'm going tomorrow afternoon (half day at work, but for a different reason).

Way too many things to list ... so here's the link to my sightings from the official Sightings section:
http://www.seibertron.com/sightings/user/seibertron/1/
TRU and Kmart are the place to go. Found everything but the Scouts (which I already had anyway). I bought a ton of stuff from Niles and Highland Park TRUs (I think I spent around $196 at those 2 stores and around $18 getting the Activators Bumblebee plus an extra Prime for 1/2 off at Schaumburg ... did the extra Prime instead of Bumblebee so one of you could get all 3 hopefully there). Highland Park still had a ton of stuff when I left there around 4pm including Leader Class Prime and Starscream. Kmart in Des Plaines had Battle Ops Bumblebee. Have fun hunting everyone!

Steve!!
So how was that early ass flight you had to catch? I felt bad for you having to basically stay up all night. I hope you caught some z's on the plane.
I just got back last night at 11pm after an unexpected two additional day stay. My wife accidentally booked our tickets for the wrong date. Innocent mistake! We ended up doing priceline.com for a resort on the walt disney propery and ended up staying at the Hilton across the street from downtown disney for $65 a night on Monday and Tuesday. Not a bad deal for 1/2 the price. It ended up turning out great that we had a couple of extra days down there. I really needed some partial r&r (as much as Seibertron.com allows me) after working my ass off from morning until night from Thursday morning to Sunday night. Yesterday at the poolside with my family was the most relaxed I've felt in months.
Nice getting to catch up with you. Now we just got to get a few of the other Chicago guys over here from TFW and we'll be all good over here.
Here's to having beers with all of you soon. We need to plan an outting soon to a Friday's, Chili's, or something. Or better yet ... somewhere that's not too busy near the Rosemont area that has a nice outside patio bar area.

Sorry I missed this message Steve. Wish I had ran into you sooner so I could've told you about our Friday night meet-up for the site's 10th anniversary. We had a blast (at least what I remember of it). Someone introduced tequila shots into the night (which is one of the ones I stay away from) and yeah ...
Check our the Seibertron.com Facebook page. We promoted our Friday night outing in the news section a couple of times and heavily promoted it on our Facebook page.

Do any of you guys follow Death's Head much? He's one of my favorite characters from the "Transformers" universe (ahem ... Marvel Universe). I just found out about these Death's Head trade paperbacks that came out back in 2006/2007 in the UK. I finally get to read his stories outside of the Transformers comics after all of these years! I'm geeked to say the least.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 500wt_1154
I'd love to see Hasbro do a Death's Head figure in their Marvel Universe toy line. And Circuit Breaker!
Death's Head was in the first UK comic I ever bought waaay back in '87 at a comic store near Southfield, MI. I was into Death's Head from the moment I saw him. Still wish he could return to his roots. I don't think Death's Head is as popular out of the Transformers universe as he is in it.

Scored massive swag at the TRU in Rockford today. Got the last Aerialbots PCC as well as the other three PCC's. They did have more PCCs. Also got all of the Generations wave, Leader SS, and they also had all the HFTD Deluxes. Still had a few left.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.
