Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
I just picked up Ultimate Bumblebee tonite. Got him at Target. Haven't taken him out yet, but will soon. I'm sure theres alot of ppl on here who probably may pass him up since he's so damn expensive. But he sure looks cool as hell in person.
Long live the Decepticons!! I love G1 Starscream!!

Don't tell Starscream, but I'm in love with movieverse Ironhide! ;)

personally, I think he is crap. Not even his transformation justifies his price. TOO simple

I bought it and returned it...

Cool, yes, but for $90 I wanted more.

It may sound stupid, but you cant even "play" with him. If he's not doing his special stuff forget about moving his arms and messing with him. The stuff he does is cool, but it got old kinda fast.

For all those people complaining about "he's not hard enough to transform," all I can say to that is go buy a Rubics Cube. I MISS the simpleness of the Transformers from childhood. I am getting old, and I hate having to keep a file of instructions just so I can mess around with my Transformers from time to time.

Back to Ultimate Bumblebee...Cool, yes. Worth $90, not in my opinion. I want more playability from it...OH, and the "seven songs" that he plays, the ONLY one you recognize is "Whip It," and Bumblebee plays that for EVERY occasion...kinda irritating.

I'm a hardcore fan, so I want everything!! He was only 70 something for me since my boyfriend works for Target. 80 bucks minus 10 % off that. So it's not so bad for me. He'll be more of a disply item then anything in my collection.

I'll rebuy him if he ever makes it to clearance for $40-ish lol.

I am more proud of the 20th Anniversary DVD Primes I picked up for $25 each on clearence at Walmart!! They are both destined to become Masterpiece Nemesis Primes...One to keep, one to sell.

As I said before, Ultimate Bumblebee IS COOL, just have more important things to buy like gas, food, and more Transformers!!

I also agree that he is a piece of garbage!!! My dad bought one cause he liked the car but as for the price and transforming ability it just doesn't make me want to spend $80 on that!! Only way I will pick one up too if he ends up in the clearance section after Christmas!!!

Well, I finally took him out. He is cool. My one cat is sitting next to me (got Bumblebee on the desk) and he's just staring at him. It's funny.

Agreed. I went to Wal-mart a couple of days ago, and they had 5 or 6 Ultimate BB's, yet after seeing a couple of videos online basically displaying everything he does, the price tag just isn't worth it. Now if they made it where he would automatically transform himself at the press of a button that would be a different story lol.

Weapon: Battle Blades
I just got him today as well for the b-day!

I really, really like it so far - its different. Do I have need for a huge, Masterpiece style movie bumblebee? Nope. And I think Hasbro knew this, which is why this toy is what it is - Fun.

well grats I guess. I do hope you enjoy him.
as for me I could care less, I like to pose my figs and roleplay with them sometimes, but ultimate BB is kind of a giant gimik brick by the vids I've seen. All the fancy electronics really dull a possibly articulate accurate toy that I would have loved... but some people like all the gimiks and don't use my kind of imagination so I can understand.

yes, I would have to agree with some on this thread that ultimate bb is pretty lame. the first time i saw one i got super excited. wow, the ult. bb!! when i stuck the finger through the hole in front i noticed right away that he felt flimsy and the songs were also sorta lame...just not at all what i was expecting. I imagined the ultimate bb having more metal parts and being much taller. this thing was very short, squatty and plasticie. Anyway, just not for me i guess.

Check out the pics. I know the taller one has a ton of detail but I think TF fans want the long tall BB not the short squatty one. And YES better, with more metal equals more money but I would rather pay more than and get a higher quality one. Tall and statuesc like the BB in the movie.

i love ultimate bb.btw happy birthday scottyp.of cource the ult bb is not going to be as realalistic as the movie and i dont think he was meant to be played with hes more like a display piece that moves that is all.the people who like him are the ons who wanted for displaying and the gimmicks.hes badass in my book.aqlthough a leader class bb would be better.who here thinks thats a good idea?i know it wont be scale but will definately more movie accurate.and when i saw ult bb i had to buy 2 of them one in misb because like him or not hes going to be woth a lot down the road because hes one of a kind
