Re: Michael Jackson Dies
You know I find is some what amusing that TMZ is reporting that he died when all the other BIG news stations/websites haven't mentioned that he died. As far as they are saying he has been hospitalized.

I hear yah, I don't know if I trust TMZ. You'd think MSN or CNN or someone would have it first!

I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

This is absolutely crushing. First Farah Fawcett, a crush I seriously had as a kid and now Michael Jackson who had me singing Beat It at a grammar school "Talent" show.
Sad day.

I was born in 88, and "Thriller" was one of the first 2 songs I could sing along with completely by age 3.

Brian Williams of NBC just said something wrapping up the news that shot chills up my spine..
"The King of POP Michael Jackson has died".
I remember watching the news in 1977 when they broke in and said something similar.
"Ladies and Gentlemen... The King has died.."

I'm only 16 but my mum is a fan of Michael Jackson and I sang along to his songs, I think most people know the lyrics to at least one of his songs, which shows how talented he was. He was one of the greatest if not the greatest artist of all time. R.I.P Michael.

Re: Michael Jackson Dies
For once I am nearly speechless. I’ve been trying to find words to form sentences for the passed 7 or 8 minutes at least and I still cannot find them.
I am left to face mortality today for certain. Afterall, what part of my growing up in the 80's didn’t contain at least ONE footprint made by Michael Jackson?
I happened to love Jackson’s music a lot. Although his more recent years have been plagued by lawsuits and accusation it is difficult not comparing his loss to that of Elvis to the generation before me. I’m crushed. .. Really I am. I can still remember; I was just 8-years old at the time. My brother, Chris and I hurried to hit all the houses we could trick or treating that year just so that we would get back home in time to see the world premiere of the ‘Triller’ music video. That video is untouchable to this day along with a zombie dance that has become as iconic as the moonwalk.

Re: Michael Jackson Dies
Sorry i'm late I was a similair thread over on TNI
As I said there He was HUGE back in the 80's Before the accusations and such he was the 80's to me
I watched the whole thing just now on Fox News
To those who weren't around back around 83,84 Micheal won tons of awards 8 grammies in one setting alone
I will allways the musical part of him but after he got burned by the fire in a Pepsi commercial in 1984 he had surgery like crazy since and thats what tuned him into a white man
I also noticed that the center he was in today was the Ronald Reagan Center and I will never forget him at the White House in 1984 with Reagan and tons of fans at the White House and thinking Wow Michael with Reagan two of my favorite people back then together
When Thriller came out It was played at certain times of the day on MTV and who forget his appearance at the Apollo I think it was the Motown 25th anniversay back in 84 where he did the moonwalk live on tv
Whatever Micheal was known as know to millions back then he was god to me before what I consider his fallout when I first heard he might of been a pedophile
Again this happening in 3's First Ed McMahon on tuesday and Micheal and Farrah Fawcett today
Who could forget her sexy calender when we were kids

Wow I can't believe i'm agreeing with Al Sharpton
He is on Fox News right as I write this he is outside the Apollo Theater
what he just said is right
Before Micheals death people ridiculed him but now there praising him
