I just realized something Spock in The Cage used to yell
I wonder if he would do the same in the new movie

I would love to have a plastic model of this ship wether they use it in the film or not.

I have an episode of DS9 every week day on Virgin 1. Starting from series 1. It's so long since I saw this series, it's like watching it again brand new.
I like the way they didn't have the wormhole opening on the pilot intro music, to keep the surprise for when it happens in the episode.
Is the Ascent the one where Quark and Odo have to climb that mountain, it's the first ep with the First Contact uniforms and the Borg battle from FC is mentioned?

Yes, it's the one where they climb the mountain. No Borg battle is mentioned, though. It's pretty much a character episode. Story B is Nog and Jake moving in together.
Anyone remember when the writers gave the Vorta some kind of telekenetic power or something, where they can attack someone with some kind of energy? Yeah, they did away with that and pretend it didn't happen.

I thought Sisko said something like they couldn't send out a search party due to the losses the flight suffered in the recent Borg attack, or the Defiant was still under repair, or words to that effect. It was only a passing statement, but I remember giving a little cheer when he said that. Yes, I give little cheers when cross continuity happens.

That Vorta thing was in the first ep with them and the Jem Hadar in wasn't it? She claimed she had the collar on to stop her using her powers. Did we actually see any other Vorta using them, because if not, it could be said it was just all part of the trickery.

Well, I was half asleep and I hadn't watched that ep in a while, so maybe it was mentioned. I'm not sure. On the special features they said something to the effect that they changed their minds after that episode, so they kind of let it be and made Vorta afterward not have that power.

This is a bitt of old news and mis-information.JJ is looking for a roll for him in the script but as of yet its not confirmed. There are two posibilitys......one is the he will play James Kirks father.....the other is that at the films ending we will see a fast foward to a new future and we will see old Kirk and Old Spock sharing a drink.

Kirk may never have been stuck in the Nexus at all after this movie. If the leaked script is the one they use young Spock would have all of old Spock's memerorys. And since time would have already been changed there will be no ethical reasons for Spock not telling his friend not to board the Enterprise B....much less all history may be changed since they will have a closer bond at a earlyer time frame.
