Optimus Prime head G1 cookie jar from 1985... any takers?

Accepting bids on this puppy now.

And managed to get some more info on it finally.
The paint is covered underneath a layer of glaze, so I'm doubting moisture's invaded it to give it the gold color.
One of the people online we showed it to (a cookie jar store who have a silver version) said this was the second one they've seen that was gold instead of silver, and the Barnes & Noble cookie jar collection book has a silver & gold version listed.
I think I'll start it at $225 and see who on which Transformers site still has interest after a day or two.
EDIT: Lowered to $125!
(Just moved for the 5th time in 5 years, got meself some of them "bill" things to pay).

I don't have Paypal, only taking Postal Money orders (or cash with pickup in PA.), just so you know.

I heard it was released only to "Green Stamps" stores (???) but I'm not sure I trusted that source.

Here's the pics... the 2 images before the last show the slight crack as well as a ding on his middle helmet piece.

Due to their fragile nature, I can't imagine too many still exist.

This site lists the manufacture date as 1985: http://www.plumed-serpent.com/artifacts.html

What source/guide told you this jar was worth so much?
