Yes. The Horrorcons are really great figures, but Snapdragon is the better of the two.
I'd say along with those two, the combiners (almost a given, really) and the Decepticon Headmasters/Headmaster Jrs. The Decepticon Targetmasters are great as well, and I really like the Con dual Targetmasters. Triggerbots/Cons as well.

Getting a decent Needlenose of a good price is a b*tch, though. Even one without his partners.

I admit to being guilty of buying my Needlenose years ago when the price for him wasn't that high. I know that's like a sin, because people get hemmrodial when you have something they want but didn't have to go through some arduous effort to get it, but it's true. I got my Needlenose for like 25 bucks with both Targetmasters and excellent stickers and practically no wear back when everyone was crying their eyes out over Concept Bumblebee from the first movie. I know that makes me an insensative collector, but I guess I had my priorities in order.

I have the better original, with a broken but complete Overbite. I'd only get the reissue for the chromed sword. If anything else, as a base for Scramble 7.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Most of my TF's as a kid were from that era. So I have a great fondness for a lot of them:

Scorponok
Snapdragon
Quake
Hun-grrr
Sinnertwin
Scattershot
Afterburner
Cloudburst
Landmine
Skullgrin
Quake
Scoop
Quickmix
Landfill
Doubledealer
Override
Ruckus
Crankcase
Greasepit
Catilla
Sports Car Patrol
Rescue Patrol
Battle Patrol
Air Strike Patrol
Race Car Patrol
Off Road Patrol
Countdown (won him in the UK comic)
Firecons (despite no arm articulation, they have some of the most original and interesting bot modes and I love the beasts)
Sizzle (Thank the UK comic for my liking the Sparkler Mini-bots)
Fizzle

Still have all of them in good condition.

In more recent years, I picked up some I didn't have like Carnivac, Snarler (surprisingly articulate), Junior Chromedome, Kabaya Highbrow, Spinister and Snaptrap.

Maybe I'm being nostalgic but I think all of the above are cool and in many cases, underrated.

That's a good thought. Once, I had one of them...the grey one, I've always mixed up their names. He was alright, but I think that without the other of the pair it was just an average toy. I always have loved the super-jet idea, but not having them both it was a lost feature for me. If I had them both, based on how I felt about the one, I imagine that they'd make my best of 87-90 list.

The names on those 2 have always made me dizzy as well. I also always had a hard time with Runamuck and Runabout. However, FunPub actually helped me remember who was who when they gave Runabout the alternate name of Over-Run.

Darkwing is literally the darker one of the two, while Dreadwind is the lighter off-white / blue one. I have them both, and they do sort of look good together as the 'Dreadwing' super-jet, although it's not THAT great. Darkwing is the nicer one of the two anyhow.
I'm so meta, even this acronym...

If there wasn't that pesky combined mode with a pesky combined name (and a later non-associated toy of the same name) I wouldn't have been nearly so confused.
