What do you mean by "all"? All formats, or 10 classic G1/MP cassettes at once?

Speaking of Soundwave / Blaster, I can't believe they never did them as ACTUAL AND FUNCTIONING cassettes players. I'd want that.

Any Soundwave that can hold the TR Spy Tablets can hold the G1/MP cassettes. And the SIEGE versions.

A Soundwave that can hold all 10 at once is of course impossible, because toys have to obey the laws of physics.

You gotta admit that a Soundwave or Soundblaster that can act as actual cassette players would be awesome. They would be huge figures like commander class minimum so that all the mechanics and electronics and be incorporated. But if they could make walkmans at the time, they could make a transformable cassette player. The speakers could be in the legs and the articulations should be limited just enough so that the inner wires don't get damaged. Everything could be powered up with a standard USB cord because I don't thing there would be space for the batteries.

Man, I'd pay for that!

The problem being, you're in the minority on that. But they would indeed need to be pretty huge to handle standard cassettes rather than microcassettes.

Well to be fair, actual cassettes are supposed to be on the rise again, though it would more Likely be a Takara project

I bet there's many young adults who never ever used a classic cassette nor it's player in their entire live!

Still, recordable cassettes, CDs, and VHS tapes are STILL being sold at my local pharmacy.

One day, I may just build a working cassette player transformable Soundwave myself.

By “All the cassettes”, I mean Soundwave’s six classic guys, and Rewind, Eject, Steeljaw, Ramhorn and Stripes for Blaster.

That's a bit too much. Simply because it require way too much empty space in the figure. Even more if you include an ejecting mechanism. This would result in a Soundwave or Blaster that would be grossly out of scale with anything, especially their own cassettes.

The Masterpiece did that with 3, with mechanism. That seems to be the limit, unless one wants wafer-thin cassettes or a hunchback of the J.A.A.T.

Hey, this is the toy that HasTak will never make, right? Let a fan dream. Even if you can't get them all into a chest compartment, you could use Rewind and Eject as "Buzzsaws" like Jetstorm and Slipstream from RiD, or do Steeljaw and Stripes as guitars. Now, that would be awesome! (And doable).

How could I forget my two biggest wishes? An MP-level figure of RiD Steeljaw, at Voyager size. And a Prime-style Jetfire. It would be reminiscent of Skyfire in bot mode, with a battle mask like the T30 version. From there, you mount the original thrusters onto a white and red SR-71 Blackbird. Pure joy.

Meaning a decent action figure that contain a nice transforming robot. Hell, even dome 3P company made a prototype only to give up later.

It can be done tho: Bandai has made SoC Baikanfu which uses the same principle, with a just released Super Minipla kit based on it. And anybody remember Brave Masterpiece King Exkizer?

If there's any pretender to get the mp treatment, it would be Metal Hawk but the question would be when.

I think one of the weirder ones could be a better showcase for MP Pretenders.

They probably would, it's a matter of if the Japanese designers want to even do them. Afterall it was only the initial wave of Pretenders that featured in the cartoon (and then the pretender combiner and mega pretenders in the following years Victory anime) but if its a matter of popularity... That still leaves us with Metal Hawk.

It is frustrating when our character selection is being held to ransom by another part of the fanbase. Especially one that almost exclusively shies away from the better designs.
