Voyager Movie Ratchet

Postby TheStarScreamer » Sun Nov 04, 2007 6:53 pm

Where is this guy? I have searched endlessly everyday for 3 weeks straight to find one for my son and I, but we can't find him anywhere. Is he shipping in any current V-class cases, shipping to BB again, or have I just totally missed out on this guy.

Note: I am not intersted in the Rescue G1 repaint which I have found in abundance.

Same problem here, i need one to finish off my autobot movie toy collection. I used to have one but i repainted him and sold him for a tidy profit. Since i havnt seen him anywhere, apart from the g1 repaint that i have no interest in. I don't understand why he has all of a sudden vanished, its not like he is that sought after like 08 BB was.

I too am missing A Voyager Ratchet, but that is my fault for waiting for Rescue Ratchet.

Currently, like the Deluxe line, there is nothing shipping.

There was an abundant amount at my Fred Meyer. (The less evil Wal-Mart, if you don't know what that is.) Only reason I didn't get one, is because I don't like the snot green color! >_<

:-? However, I have yet to see a Voyager G1 Ratchet.

even here in my area, Green Ratchets are as hard to find as a needle in a haystack. he wasn't as much sought after as Ironhide, so it makes me wonder why he suddenly disappears from the shelves quickly.

a case of buying any available TFs because there are no primary choices available perhaps?

I guess I can only speak for the Pacific Northwest but I remember being buried in green ratchets a little while back. In August during a four Target outing my wife and I counted 26 of them!!

I did get one but I remember thinking...there are so many of them, they will never be hard to find...

Well here's the skinny on my area as for what's abundant and what's rare:

Plenty:
Deluxe
Recon Barricade, Longarm, Arcee, Dreadwing (the most of all), Brawl, Bonecrusher, Wreckage, Dropkick, FB Jazz, Scorponok, Payload
Voyager
Megatron, Thundercracker, Rescue Ratchet
Leader
Brawl, Prime, Megatron

Scarce, but available:
Deluxe
Bumblebee (both), Barricade (none before about Wed, but seen lots since then), Autobot Jazz, Swindle
Voyager
Starscream

Not to be found:
Voyager
Prime, Ratchet, Ironhide (seen 1 in a month, bought it), Blackout (not counting TRU 2-pack)

Anyways I am growing tired of searching. My son and I really want him.

Strange that you get Ratchets up there. Granted, I began collecting late (week of DVD release), and missed the BB exclusives. I just never thought we'd find piles of Bumblebee, Leader Primes, Jazz, Barricade, or even Ironhide before Ratchet.

I know how you feel. I'm missing four Autobots, and it completes my whole movie collection:

Deluxes: '08 BB, Autobot Jazz (not interested in FB)
Voyagers: Autobot Ratchet, Ironhide

The only one of the above that I've EVER seen is Jazz. Everything else was wiped out long ago, and it doesn't look like they'll come back. I was lucky enough to find Leader Prime yesterday, and I guess that was the tip of my luck.

Yeah something tells me I should just go ahead and hit evilBay for him. I noticed hunting today that parents were loading up on toys and walking around with Christmas lists and stuff. One lady was even eyeballing my son's Bumblebee he brought with him from home trying to figure out where I got it. She ended up grabbing a Cyber slammer or whatever they're called and I had to stop her and let her know that those were for babies pretty much, and she thanked me. I told her to check Targets, although knew that the last BB 2-packs had blown out over the past 2 days.

Anyways, unless anyone can confirm an upcoming case with Ratchet or I find him tomorrow, I guess I will be shopping online for him. X-mas shopping parents are going to throw anything that says Transformers in their cart so the chances of finding any movie Autobots are slim I think.

I haven't seen Movie Ratchet nor Ironhide at any of the stores, even when the toyline was released, i guess lots of people swarmed those two.

Though i prefer Rescue Ratchet, i guess getting him from online stores, or ebay is you're best bet. Im not sure if the Best Buy toys are still around. Best of luck to ya.

I'd hold off on that if you can. Just like the last "drought" this should clear up before Christmas.

I fell to the hysteria for a G1 Jazz (only paid $15 with shipping, not too awful) but then saw DOZENS at retail a week or so later.

Good luck in your hunt all the same!

I opened a case of Voyagers at Target today a friend pulled for me. It contained 1x of Prime, Megatron, Rescue ratchet, and Thundercracker. I ended up manning up and buying the RR for my son, but I am still holding out for a movie one.
