Shrödinger's Blackout box

( =you won't know if the peg is stressed, until you get Blackout out of the box, but as long as it stays in the box, it is stressed and unstressed at the same time )
My Blackout also has stress marks on it, it was just hell to get each of the straps off of him.

Naj jokes, that is very unlucky, and the toys have been very fragile, that is why I am getting Movie Legends, because they don't seem easy to brake.

Kept mine in helicopter mode after I read the reviews. Smart move I guess.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

This is a ridiculous state of affairs! Hasbro is supposed to make toys that are played with, not to be kept in boxes or just transformed one time, and even that delicately!
Has anyone ever organised a writing in to Hasbro to complain about the quality control? Seems like most people are just accepting it. It's okay if it's collectors who just have it in one pose or few, and i'm one of those who don't really play with them. But I have an idea reading these forums that many of you buy these as toys for your kids. I wouldn't want to buy my kid a toy he'd have to handle not to play, but as a work of art or a bunch of flowers. I might as well send him to a flower arrangement class.

I've transformed my Blackout a bunch of times, with no problems. Maybe people who have broken theirs are using too much force.

I see what you did there. Kudos.
Anyway, could anyone that breaks their Blackout please state your age and exactly what type of mutant hands you have (claw, hook, squid, meat, or other) so that we can guage the legitimacy of your claims?
I mean, yes, the figure is wobbly and yes, it is an odd mix of soft and hard plastic, but he's one of th easier transformations in the line. What the hell is going on?

Mine isn't broken but it also isn't coming out of robot mode anytime soon.
There's a small tab on his left side that locks the cockpit portion in place and it's bent just enough that it takes some wiggling to get it to lock into robot mode. No amount of wiggling will get it to lock into helicopter mode. This happened after the first transformation. I tried to straighten the tab with some needle nose plyers but didn't want to twist too hard in fear of breaking the tab off.
I'm 29 and repair electronics down to the component level on a daily basis. I resent the implication that it's something I did wrong and not shoddy work by Hasbro. Just because you got lucky with yourse doesn't mean I fraked up.
