Aww have you guys no taste? ...It's a design classic! Not so much the new Beetle though. Maybe you hate kittens also, cuz anyone thinking the Beetle is ugly is beyond me.

I wish the rest of the main autobot characters had been done - Trailbreaker, Hoist, Gears, Brawn, and Huffer.

Well, I'm an Audi TT owner and fan so I would have loved to see them do a TT alternator. I think the new Mercedes GL would make a good Megarton too.

wow - just wow. all i can say is thank you for the pics. they're really appreciated, and i finally can see what Jazz woulda been.
granted, i still like Jazz's Mazda legs as they look more bulkier, but the upper body of prototype Jazz is just so sweet. very G-1 like.

and - i daresay it - Bumblebee here looks WAAAAY better than it's Classics counterpart! i don't like the "cape" on its back, but the rest of the body is so good. here's wishing VW did grant that license to use their Beetle for the BT/Alt Bumblebee.

Bumblee wasn't destined for Alts. First, VW wouldn't license the bug then Hasbro f'ed up the deal with BMW and the mini-cooper. Or at least that was the rumour that was reported.

VW was going to license the product as long as it did not have a gun. But anyways, you are all very welcome. I thought that you would enjoy the photos.

Nope, still hate the Bug, new and old. What a little peter puffer car.
Others that would have made good alternators: BMW 6, MB SLK 55 AMG, the Cadillac V16 concept car, or the Ford Shelby Concept car from a couple years back.

Hasbro should've gone along with that. Bumblebee doesn't need a gun.

Another car manufacturer that was approached by Hasbro & Takara was BMW and like VW, they approved the design for BB & Cliffjumper as long as the figure did not have a weapon.
