Hence its not part of US continuity.
And you know what, in almost 25 years of research and my too few years working at Marvel comics file room I have never seen any indication that Hasbro intended to air Scramble city.
And while I was there I found a few interesting things in the files [wish I coppied them]
So, please, back up your claim.....provide proof that Hasbro intended to air Scramble city.
Scramble city was most likely in the beginning used by Hasbro as a promo episode. to show all the networks what they were getting the following year/years.
And considering that every G1 episode was written the US production and then dubbed into Japanese, I find it had to believe that the Japaneses written [by Toyohiro Ando] and produced Scramble city would have been the first episode dubbed into english.
metroplex & trypticon clearly knew each other in FFOD before viewers saw them battle for the first time.
You have totally failed to provide any solid evidence of that.
