Are they ever going to make G1 Arcee
Ya know, we have had an incarnation of just about every other character but a good Arcee still eludes us. When are they going to make a cartoon accurate Classics Arcee?

In the immediate future, it looks like the answer is "no"...or at least "not yet".
Until then, maybe you should look over the "A.R.C. project". It's not made by any official Hasbro/Takara designers, but in my opinion it's good enough to be so. These guys specialize in bulding custom fem-bot models, starting with an official Arcee, and last time I checked they were adding to new, original characters to thier line-up.
Any of you guys otu there remember the link to their site? Afraid I didn't take it down, and can't remember it off the top of my head...

*is quietly expecting some kind of homage to Arcee should the Classics line be continued after the movie*
Until then, E-Arcee seems to be the best we've had so far.

I certainly wasn't impressed by the sculpt and/or moulding quality shown in the full-size pictures on the Assembly page.
However, I have to admit that the detail and style on the legs of the WIP CyberFembot J.E.T. look impressive so far, if they do a better job of transferring the sculpt to a mould.

*sigh* i guess ill kinda paraphrase wat others have said. ya there is a transforming model kit of her, and hasbro/takara could make 1. it would make sense to release a g1 arcee in the classics line which others said would be cool

I really don't think an Arcee would sell well enough for Hasbro to really make money off it. Unless of course they sold it as limited thing. Its not like even the entire collector fanbase would buy her. And your average little kid is more likely to want prime or Hotrod to Arcee. The demand just isn't really there to warrant a full retail release from Hasbro.
I know that personally I don't really care much for the character.

I highly doubt that'll be G1 Arcee. Most likely an E-Arcee repaint if it's not a dedicated sculpt (which it might well be), but that's fine by me since I missed her the first time around and have been kicking myself ever since.

You may be right and I would be OK with the scout one being E-Arcee but the deluxe one I hope is a new mold and not a repaint of Override. I would prefer Thunderblast to Override.
