GI Joe Vs. Transformers Omnibus
Just picked this up this week...it's all the GI Joe Vs. Transformers Trades (With the exception of the killer World War 2 one) and its in a kick arse hard cover...anyone else grabbed this? Thought? Opinions? Personally I dig it

Though I was slightly disappointed with the Black Harvest section. Andrew Wildman's art wasn't what I thought it be. Maybe he should have used a different inker... or different colorist.
Nonetheless, great read. Highly recommend it!

That's cause the World War 2 one was done by Dreamwave. The others were done by Devil's Due.
And yeah, I got it. I didn't really want to buy the issues when they were out, but a combination of weaknesses led to my buying the omnibus.
1). I'm making money now, so I can afford a fifty dollar splurge.
2). I need to get my TF comic collection up to date so I can get the VSD up to date.
3). It was there.
And surprisingly, the story wasn't really as bad as I thought it would be. Of course, that may be becuase I'm reading it all together and at once, but if that can make Megatron: Origin work, I guess that's OK.
Well worth the price.

Re: GI Joe Vs. Transformers Omnibus
Since I read both G.I. Joe America's Elite currently and all the TF I can get my hands on, I also bought the hardback TF vs. Joe Omnibus.
I have to admit it ain't got slag on the WWII crossover, but it was worth the buy/read. The story gets progressively bizarre as you go deeper into the book though.
Also, Megs is drawn in possibly the worst way ever. Even Movie-Verse Megs is handsomer than what how he is depicted in the TF vs. Joe Omnibus. I needed to pick up my War Within TPBs after that one to remind myself of how hot he actually is.
However, I loved how Screamer was drawn, loved some of the character interactions, and 'Cracker took my breath away in it!
Also, who doesn't love the "Decepticon symbol in the Cobra symbol" symbol. I need to find a "junior's" t-shirt with that. (small and tight)

In a place such as this, you are the perfect prey for a brest animal!

on my long, long, list of stuff to get

I'm still getting used to the fact that the 1986 movie takes place 3 years in the past now.
