It had it's good points and bad points, but overall I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Of course I also enjoyed the modern version of Hairspray so that should be a testament to the state of my unevolved ape like mind which likes nothing but low brow unintelligent movies.

It's easily the best 12 bucks I've spent at the cinemas. I did not say 1 word while I was watching it. Not 1 word!
I loved it. It was an awesome movie!

I love it. I've been a fan for 21 years now, and this movie is badass. It's a realistic (or as realistic as giant robot aliens can get) take on giant robots wrecking havoc on our poor little mudball planet. Got a few really great actors (John Voight, John Tuturro). I couldn't have asked for more. Well, I could have, but it woulda been pure fantasy. In short, if you like sci-fi, giant robots, TransFormers, or just great special effects and insanely huge explosions, buy this film NOW.

Just takin' a stab in the dark here... but I think Starscream's Heir is Zany28's bro...
And if that sounds nuts, it's because it's late, and I'm tired...

It's a suprisingly good romantic comedy, and has some good 'splosians. As far as character development, or interesting villains (or heroes !
) it's pretty awful. but it's one of those movies you can watch over & over. the DVD's worth it.

You are a far better ape than I. Won't touch hairpspray with a 10 foot pole.
I think John Travolta looked better as a woman in Battlefield: Earth
