Coming somewhat out of the blue comes the news that IDW Publishing is reprinting the "More than Meets the Eye" Profile Books that were originally released by Dreamwave over two Trade Paperback (TPB) issues.
Amazon.com have given a tentative release date of September 25th 2008 for the release of Issue 1 while Issue 2 has been given a tentative release date of December 25th 2008.
Amazon have also listed the Armada Trade Paperback Volume 1 to be released on October 25th 2008, as another IDW Publishing reprint of older Dreamwave material.
Since no confirmation of these releases has been made by IDW Publishing, these releases can only be confirmed as rumours. Stay tuned to Seibertron.com's News for more information as it becomes available.

Do you think they will be available on amazon.co.uk too? I'm going to pre-order them anyway...

Optimus Prime: Great... but how are we gonna explain to capellamusic the hole on his wall?
Megatron: Hmm... a free natural air conditioning system?

YES! I can't freaking wait! I only have one issue of those DW profile books! Seriously hope this is more than a rumor!
I watched some of the first season of Armada, but I think I'd prefer that particular story in comic form. A TPB would be a very convinient way! I'm collecting those "DK Readers" children's books of Armada right now.
Very good things to look forward to!

In a place such as this, you are the perfect prey for a brest animal!

The Armada (and later) Energon Comics differ greatly to the tv shows, so expect no correlation between the two, other than the characters themselves.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I wouldn't say that. There were certain profiles done in the Armada book (re: Nemesis Prime and Sideways) where Adam and James blatantly pilfered their ideas from the series. Of course, considering that Nemesis Prime's only major appearance was in an Armada ep, I can forgive them for that.
Sideways, though, is a different story. Treated as nothing more than another character in the comic, making him a servant of Unicron was just dumb.
