I finally got Quickslinger aka Slingshots at TRU in Whitestone, NY yesterday I bought the last one so I hope you guys find him in stores.

Not sure if this is terribly helpful, but was going to Montreal this weekend, and happened to stop by a K-Mart about 5 minutes from the border. They had 1 platinum edition insecticons for $80, and a few CW Rook and Silverbolt. Memory is hazy after a long weekend, but they had a few CW legends (warpath?). Selection was paltry compared to the TRU near Montreal (they had Motormaster!).

I picked mine up from Hypno-Tronic Comics which is a quick walk from the ferry dock at Staten Island. They still had a couple there, but not much else (maybe a Generations Doubledealer and Rhinox)?

I've been seeing that some folks in the NY/NJ area have had success at their local discount stores as of late. I decided to check out the TJ Maxx in downtown Manhattan, and scored the last Sky Lynx for $14.99. The box is a little beat up, but the inside looks fine. There is also one Onslaught on the shelf, also for $14.99. That box looked like it was in decent shape.

I was at the Atlantic Center in Brooklyn yesterday afternoon. Target didn't really have anything. But Marshall's had 3 CW Onslaughts and 3 CW Scattershots. Each figure was $14.99.

I've been ordering a lot of my collection from Amazon sellers and BBTS, but I was wondering if any action figure/collectible shops like BBTS exist in New York State. Of particular interest, does anyone know if there's such a shop within 3 hours of Rochester, NY, even in Canada?

A quick Google search brings up three locations on Long Island, but that's a long 7 hour or so drive for me.

I'm a bit confused bye your request, I'm not sure exactly what kind of a store you looking for, are you looking for a big Warehouse type of store, or like a Collectibles place that might sell toys cards comics and other sorts of things

I live in Rochester myself and know of at least one anime store and an antique toy store in the area
