The contracts are all temporary at this stage, and I had no intention of pursuing it as a career at this moment. Too much **** going on at both the micro and macro levels of academia. [-(

I'm kind of in the same boat now. I had to resign from my engineering job in January, so now I am about to start working at my martial arts school for the foreseeable future as an instructor & program director (which means I will eventually do some marketing for the school, set up events and enroll new students. In addition, I am about to start a temporary gig as a Test Score Analyst (which means I will be grading standardized tests for two months) and I am trying to get accepted into graduate school so I can get my Master's degree.

I'm a stay at home dad who writes as a hobby, though I have been accepted by a publisher but there is strings attached that is a lot to deal with

She's a nursery nurse, last job I had was volunteer work in a toy shop which sadly had to close as the owner bran it into the ground thinking that everyone would flock to his shop with his high prices.

Well yeah, but high prices for a chain vs high prices for a Mom n' Pop place? Your looking at $20 (USD) for a deluxe vs $30. That about right, ZW?

It was even less consistent than that like $40 for a certain deluxe vs $10 for another and then $60 for g1 bumblebee. I've put prices in American just to get the point across but it was even worse for star wars figs, there was some good prices than there was the prices that tru were beating (without having them on sales or clearance)

If he had a system, he kept it to himself. It just seemed incredibly random. I tried to do things a lot fairer but the cards were stacked from the start
