Re: The Fort Max anticipation thread
Just had mine arrive today and there's a major issue with it in city mode. For some reason Cerebros will not slide into the bay to form the comms tower/room. The interesting thing is that I tested in on the incomplete original Fort Max body I already owned and it doesn't have the same problem.

What are the differences that cause this? Can you see anything that is off in some way? I don't have this problem.

Mine had this problem too. I tried taking it apart in that area to see if it could be fixed. It proved unsuccessful.Bowspearer wrote:Just had mine arrive today and there's a major issue with it in city mode. For some reason Cerebros will not slide into the bay to form the comms tower/room. BUT, I did manage to figure out a way around this problem and got Cerebros to fit into it a different way. Instead of sliding the feet/legs in straight downward, slide them in at an angle. I'll try my best to explain it.
1. Open the bay to prepare it for Cerebros insertion like normal.
2. Transform Convert Cerebros into his Communications Tower Mode like normal.
3. Take Cerebros and swing the legs back 90 degrees towards the position they would normally be in for Cerebros' Robot Mode.
4. Take Cerebros and, when facing City Mode from the front, tilt him forward 45 degrees.
5. Insert Cerebros into the bay while still tilted forward 45 degrees by sliding his feet into the bay at the 45 degree forward angle.
6. While inserting Cerebros, you should sliding him in by rotating him upward and back to make him stand straight up once his feet are resting inside the floor of the bay.
7. Once inserted, bend Cerebros downward 90 degrees at the waist to return him to his proper Tower Mode configuration and to properly secure him into the bay.
Hope that helps.

Cheers for that, it solved the problem. Why they changed the internals of that bay (the only explanation for the problem) is beyond me.
