Caught the final 10 minutes of the race. Not a big race fan but that ending was very exciting.

I really wanted Mark Martin to win that one and if Busch doesn't nail Kenseth to start that wreck, I think Mark would have held Harvick off. I'm just glad that Gordon and Johnson didn't win that one.

Zuko wrote:Well that was a right bit of bullshit. There was a wreck and no caution was called. Depriving Mark Martin of a Daytona 500 win for now 24 years in a row. Complete and utter bullshit.
And no offense to AutobotJazz but I freaking hate Harvick. So to have him win over my driver by pure stupidity like this just pisses me off to about no end.
Well, I was cheering for Mark to win it too, but DW had a point. With a couple hundred feet left, might as well let them race to the finish.
Honorable mention goes to Boris Said for finishing......upside down.

And if NASCAR had called the caution, people would be moaning that they should have let it end. No win situation for NASCAR.
Anyways, that was an awesome finish and my boy won the big daddy of all races. What an awesome race.
Also, none taken Zuko.

Correction....
Now it is on to the railroad track where no racing happens and cars follow each other single file like a train for the majority of this pathetic excuse for a race track for the NASCAR series.
I'm sorry, I like Penske (hell, I was a Rusty Wallace fan until he retired), but California and Michigan are two of the worst tracks when it comes to racing on the entire circuit.
Give me more short tracks dammit!

I can say Michigan is much more interesting when you're there. Been there twice.

I really want to see a NASCAR race in person. I go to my local short track 5 Flags all the time and it is a blast.

Low field counts for this weeks Busch and Truck events. 40 (43 possible) entered for Busch and 33 (36 possible starters) for Truck. Not good when its only the second race of the season.

I bet the Bush situation changes. The truck field though I doubt changes.

Man you could tell they were all pissed when he spun out his teammate.
Also. Anyone know if Martin is racing at Las Vegas next weekend?

I believe he is. He is suppose to race in every race until Bristol.

Right before they interviewed Scott Pruett he gave the thumbs down to Juan so you definitely knew he was not happy.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Even when the race first ended Pruett banged into Montoya on the track. This could be interesting later in the year since Pruett usually drives in the Cup road course races.

Pruett has nothing to complain about. He came down and blocked Montoya who had a lot faster car. Pruett basically spun himself out.

Darn!! Somebody beat me to this idea. Oh well!!
Caught the Australian V8 Supercars yesterday. Very impressive, and they make a wonderful noise!
I wish that I could see the Nextel Cup, but I would have to fork out more money for the North American Sports Network, and I can't afford it at this time.
Only another 13 days until the first Grand Prix of the Formula One season. Go Red Bull and Mclaren!! And does anyone else think that the Honda livery just doesn't work/sucks beyond belief?

Ok, Kimi Raikkonen is on pole for the Australian GP, but Felipe Massa's Ferrari also broke down during the second sesssion, so could the Ferrari maybe have reliability issues? Well done to Mark Webber in the Red Bull Renault, 7th on the grid, right behind the works Renault of Giancarlo Fisichella! The Hondas were absolutely rubbish, and were outpaced by BOTH of the Super Aguri Hondas!! The Mclarens were right up at the front as they should be, so were the BMW Saubers and surprisingly enough, both the Toyotas were in the top ten, despite problems in pre-season testing and practice. The Dark horses for the season maybe along with Red Bull? What do you think?

I think Ferrari will win the championship with Kimi Raikkonen this year.
