That's that only set I've seen at any of the Rosses I visit. I keep hoping to run into more or the set be on clearance. $13 was too rich for my blood. So to answer your question, I have no clue.

I found that in my local store. An oversized EZ ExciKaiser/Defense Hotshot.

I hesitated to take it for customization, but even 5€ was to expensive for this.

Visited another Family Dollar store and found the mother load of KO / off brand transforming robits.

Found a few more of these guys.

Spotted a few "Dinobots".

And then I hit the max upload limit.

So I went ahead and picked up Lavender Prime. Not bad, not great. The plastic is better than expected, but the waist transformation swivel is at a weird place so the top half lines up weird and there is no chest window sculpting. They did make all 6 wheels roll though. It's a pretty light toy weighing in at 27 grams where Motorbreath weighs 20 grams. Might be a fun thing to practice customizing on. A few other differences are that the front wheels are wider than the original and the leg vent sculpting is slightly differnt (isn't recessed).

Those are great finds, Cary. Why is that OP mold so dang popular to KO companies? I think I must have seen more KOs of that mold than anything else.
Also, I thought that M.A.R.S line had left the whole Converting Robot business. Just sticking to action figures and generic, non transforming robots. I suppose they got their start that way, though, why not return to it.

Hah, I saw a couple of those M.A.R.S. Dinos at Ross a couple months back. At $10 a pop I was tempted to be honest. There are still some regular M.A.R.S. transforming cars and walking robots at my local Walmart, in the Transformer section (the Leader Class shelf to be exact).

Those Legion Class KO's look interesting, but I'd probably only get the green motorcycle when I see them. I have a Family Dollar just a little down the road (along with two Dollar Generals on opposite ends of that road).

And I have an earlier version of that God Max KO combiner, and love it to bits. I still need new names for the members though.

It would help (me?) people focus posting general KO stuff in one thread, right? Which mod or admin should I/we contact about this?

Well...as far as I can tell, the first thread you linked is for when you buy knock-offs and/or third party stuff, like the main haul thread is for official items. The second thread is to talk about KOs in general, and this thread is for knockoff sightings? Because of that, I'd say this thread and the general thread could maybe be merged, but the haul thread should remain on its own because it also includes third party stuff. But Burn or Cobotron would probably be the ones to talk to, I'm just throwing my hat in the ring.

Yep, pretty much. This thread is more dedicated to the really gaudy, neon, dollar store stuff. Those threads are more for 323rd party and then to an extent the high quality KOs, Wei Jang and the like. That would be my case.

Cheers, folks. I just want to post whatever KOs I find, or general KO stuff together, to generate more views (for my posts) or replies and/or to view most of other people's stuff. I noticed that Paul at Sirtoys posted at the first link I gave, so I don't want to miss out on those. He usually posts at TFW2004, but as I'm moving away from that site, I want a similar "KO Home thread" at Seibertron, that is similar to the "KO Discussion Thread" at TFW2005. Is this thread it? I didn't get any replies at the first thread, even though it seems much older and Paul at SirToys posted there.

Any advice, folks? Sorry to detail. Once I'm settled in, I'll post more KO stuff here.


Edit: - A kindly mod/admin got back to me and was very helpful. They suggested renaming/redescribing the three threads, which might be helpful? Here's an edit of their reply. If this brand rules, please feel free to remove. Again, apologies for the slight derailment.
