I like this list, I like it a lot. I really have no problems with it. For mine, I'd toss out #4 and replace it with 2001 RiD Mags, and flip flop #s 1 and 2, but I'm good with your list as well.

Though, on a personal nitpicky note, if we didn't have the Takara Legends version or that Hasbro gift set version, I would not but CW Mags on here, because of those unpainted rims alone. Its kinda of silly for a complaint, but damn, do they detract from the toy for me.

Another great list! I completely agree with number 1, mainly because of the nod hasbro gave to us idw fans in the form of minimus ambus.

I know it's not going to make any list, but I love Q Magnus. The alt mode is perfect.

That's one of the big things that put me off that figure (the overly chunky look being another). If I was to get that mold at some point I think I'd go Takara's version just cos if I have to put up with a mini-figure inside him then Alpha Trion is more acceptable to me than that damn Minimus.

I did almost get the metallic painted Magnus as i was going to buy that Plaintum 5 pack just for the metallic Arcee before I settled instead for the larger KO of the Arcee mold (and sold my regular Generations one)

I had original G1 Magnus (the version without the antenna and face paint) and it was the only version of the original Prime cab mold I ever owned. I wasn't a huge fan of it partly due to the the fact the large Magnus didn't even look like he had legs at all (seemed to be like he just scooted about on those wheels) and also I remember getting told off by my mum for complaining that my Magnus came with two large left fists and no right one.

Was never fond of the cartoon version of Magnus but loved him in the Marvel UK comics and his battles with Galvatron.

I had Nightwatch 2007 movie Optimus Prime for a lil while and pretended he was movieverse Ultra Magnus.

I don't like that Animated Magnus much but I do kinda like it's opening mouth feature. Adds a bit more personality to poses.

Think only other Mags I ever owned was the one from the Classics two pack with Skywarp but that probably doesn't count since it's just a white redeco of Prime and no other effort was made into making it more unique

Umm, wasn't this exact list done before about a month ago? Either you repeated it or I time traveled from the future. Considering I'm from an alternate universe, the latter is not out of question.(hope I didn't cause a paradox :-D

I thought the same exact thing! I could have sworn we already did a Top 5 Magnus list not too long ago in the past.

5-1986 G1 UM. He maybe a brick, but he's the 1st armor up TF.

4-RID UM, he has one of the !@#$%ing bad a$$ alt.mode. I can't say no to a workable car carrier, combine with Prime, and he's the only UM incarnation who can fly.

3-Animated UM, very accurate to the show in both mode. I also love all of his weapon and gimmick, wow.

2-MP22, the most awesome figure and toon accurate G1 UM I have seen e.g. from red bumper to clear chest window. Gimmick is A+++ love the matrix chest cavity, store 4 car, hand held matrix. Transformation is very intuitive, fun, and clever e.g. arm transformation. His 2 downside: No white Magnus robot cab which I can deal with. The worst one, !@#$% butt flap (good grief TTomy, how can you even approve this? I can't wait for Toy House Factory MP22 UM as a replacement).

1-At number #1, WFC Siege UM!! G1 UM + white Magnus robot cab + RID UM alt.mode - Nuffs' said. I have waited for since 1986. MP22 just got dethroned.

Honorable mentions:
TF Prime (neck-to-neck with RID), Autobot Hero UM, QTF-12 UM (the little cute QTF bugger with red bumper does have a soft spot within me).

I wanted to post this while it was still fresh in my head and I couldn't figure where best to post this so here it is. As I was getting my carcass ready for work this morning I flip on the tv to see an episode of "Everybody loves Raymond" that was ending...fans anyone?

The episode is called "Lucky Suit" and in the closing scene the little boy brings the character Robert a crown to wear and in the background you can clearly see UM (God Magnus). It looks like he's without his trailer/legs part in alt-mode.

But to the right is another robot like figure that I just can't figure out and maybe someone with more smarts than me can. :-P

Nemesis Destron, the footage was a bit fuzzy, but I don't think that was a Transformer. The legs looked like they didn't have any joints, and thus couldn't really be transformed. I know it's not impossible to have a Transformer with solid, rigid legs, but I don't think that one was one.

Well it didn't look to me like any TF I could recognize but hell I don't claim I know it all. :-P
