Was Cybertron a decent series?

Re: Was Cybertron a decent series?
I didn't stay with Armada when I tried to watch it, and have not given Energon a try. However, I am currently going through Cybertron and really enjoy it. I know it is the third part in the Unicron series, but from reading descriptions of all three and watching it, it really can stand alone just fine.
Cybertron seems more "grown up" to me. The kids aren't half as annoying as the Armada trio, and the story is more interesting. There are mini-cons but they are not the main point of interest in the show by any means. I also find it more hard hitting and action-packed.
If you are not bothered by reading subtitles, watch Cybertron in Japanese original version, Galaxy Force. Thundercracker's weapon is "Thunder Hell" you just can't beat that. I also think that the music, etc. was toned down for US audiences. Galaxy Force has way more evil sounding organ music and fire in the background when the Destrons are shown.
Floats my boat.

In a place such as this, you are the perfect prey for a brest animal!

I liked Galaxy Force (Japanese, uncut version of Cybertron), but stopped half way through on the English dub. I highly recommend you watch this one in Japanese, cause Galaxy force isn‘t a sequel to Energon, but Cybertron is.

yes, but that's cos GONZO did not fulfill it's contract.
personally I kinda liked it, but soon got bored with constantly seeing the lame transfomation sequences and the robots TELLING there oponents which attack they were going to make.

In my opinion, there is only one answer for this query:
NO!
NO!

Like all the series different strokes for different folks! I really liked it and enjoyed it immensely! The story was pretty good and i liked the style of it. I loved ransack and crumplezone and also thunderblast there were so many different styles of TFs it had something for everyone. My favorite had to be Scourge though! All in all i thought it was very good!

Re: Was Cybertron a decent series?
i enjoyed it.
Cybertron Megatron and Starscream are the most badarse versions of their respective characters in the whole Unicron Trilogy (Energon's hit/miss dialogue pretty much did it for E. Megs). Starscream's so powerful, he can take a whole squad of Autobots by himself without resorting to backstabbing tactics.
kids are not that bad compared to Kicker.
Soundwave's the man. i'm rollin' with him.
Prime's a wimp, though. i wonder what's all that firepower for, can't even take on Megatron 1 on 1 even though Megsy's only armed with a "weeny" chain pistol.

Why does everyone hate Kicker? I thought he was rather neat, one of the reasons I liked Energon so much.

I think you should watch it and decide for yourself rather than asking the opinions of a bunch of fans.
But personally, yes. I enjoyed it. It had it's flaws but pretty much everything has flaws. You just gotta learn to over look them.
